QUOTE(spikee7 @ Jun 19 2010, 07:59 PM) wonder wat it wil be replace wit the verizon logo if motorola sell it outside of us... Those logo are "branding marks" from their respective telco carriers, in this case Verizon.it is consume lot of space there... or wil it be exclusive phone only for verizon... Unless you are buying doubtful AP or illegal sets there is no way 100% we get that carrier marking here. Also after doing much reading is there ANY confirmation that the Droid X/Milestone X is reaching our shores? the only closest lead that I'm aware of is the Milestone XT which is already launched in Singapore. |

the Droid brand name is exclusive to Verizon. As long as the GSM counterparts don't use the name it shouldn't be a problem for Motorola

QUOTE(scpt @ Jun 21 2010, 01:36 PM) the Droid brand name is exclusive to Verizon. As long as the GSM counterparts don't use the name it shouldn't be a problem for Motorola ya,but it will make verizon lose many customers due to availability at other countries/carriers in GSM.i think motorola will give verizon exclusive for "some" time for droid c and droid 2 n after that will make gsm version to droid 2 only..i got feeling that droid x will not available as gsm but motorola will build another model with similar or enhanced spec...that is because i read a news that htc droid incredible is inside phased out list from verizon and droid x due to replace it |
