just heard that Droid X will have preloaded apps included blockbuster , skype , backup assistant , phone portal , visual voice mail , DLNA , swype .... so attractive !!!!

How are they gonna lose customers when most parts of the world are using GSM? Unlikely for GSM users to buy a CDMA phone when it won't work in their contry, unless their filthy rich and they buy just to fiddle with the phone

what i mean was verizon trying to get exclusive of droid x from motorola for some period of time...and verizon try to tie customer into their carrier...im not talking about motorola gonna lose customer..
is like Spring get exclusive of HTC Evo 4g..
and if u wan droid x and u in US, u only can get from verizon..
so my GUESSING will be no GSM version for droid x..

u can change the boot animations by rooting, i've seen that a lot on youtube. cooler ones also have. hehe.

droid2 also will be on verizon...
so itz also wil not get gsm...
if droid2 get gsm,motorola might also bring out droid x too i guess...

but when they came out the gsm version
sure not as cool as the droid version la
different theme n bootscreen and all.

is just my guess that droid x will not available in gsm...i consider it as verizon flagship phone...
hope motorola will gif us surprise..

i think it is part of verizon as verizon has the exclusive for droid name from lucas film.

ZZZZ.... most of the android phones are tied to verizon la..

But that doesnt mean that there wont be GSM version of it... if not how are they gonna compete??


Australia and Malaysia doesnt have CDMA carrier for starter... UK/Europe also uses GSM frequency...


Its a matter of Sonner or Later ....


Droid x would most probably be Milestone X for GSM

or droid 2 instead of droid x will be milestone x?

like htc desire exclusive for maxis..and u said how r they gonna compete?then why htc wan to exclusive 1 month to maxis since htc can just launch the product with all telco in malaysia just to stay in competition?
or Telstra a telco in australia which has 6 months exclusive for htc desire?
u wan make it available at other telco?u break the agreement..else make another phone that some specs are different..or wait until exclusive finish first...

would prefer back to shadow or extreme than droid2 or milestone x...
droid2 could not be in the list if verizon want to keep the name for another droid wit keyboard...

Motorola Droid 2 hands on

not much different for outlook but specs more stronger ..... anyway still prefer Droid X ....

Im not talking about telco competing ... im talking about Motorola making profits..


HTC binds with Maxis .. Yes BUT!! There is unlock version of it right???


By the way.. i wonder how many malaysian actualy buys phone through contract?? Maxis deals are KILLER

but i am mentioning about telco..not related to manufacture(motorola)...but u reply with the "compete"..
of coz motorola wan to gain more profit but sometime there will be an agreement between motorola and certain telco that in the way...


i think the htc desire deals with maxis is quite reasonable if compare with other countries/telcos....but many ppl will wait for digi maybe because of cheaper plan rate?

Anyway, The droid 2 and milestone LOOKS just the same ...

for me droid X FTW, as i dont really need the real qwerty keypad. imo.
