i just booked cozy chalet at perhentian besar for 4 days 3 nights.. hows the quality of the chalet as its a newly build chalet(2009)..

Any promotional packages for Perhentian for this coming weekend? I wanna go there ASAP, 3ppl, 3D2N with snorkeling trip, preferbly weekends.

Don't say about promotion yet but if you want to be that rush, i would say you first need to check the rooms availability. Most of the time, you are recommended to book about 1 - 2 months in advance. Some could even lead to 3 months in advance especially during peak hours and holidays.

hi, im also looking for perhentian island package on 28-30 may, any recommendation? My friends managed to get rm260 but too bad the package already fully booked.

You need to walk about 15-20 minute to Mamas Chalet,can get cheaper meals.

Yes,you can see the turtle but you need to take snorkeling package. Only 2 snorkeling site you can see the turtle eat sea grass

Yes.you can catch the speed boat at 1.00pm .

I see, that's nice...anyway, do i have to walk along the beach, trails or use road in order to get to mamas chalet from PIR? would it be safe to walk at nite ...

You need to walk along the beach to get Mamas Chalet.Its advisable to bring torch light .Much more safe

I'm going to drive from KL to Kuala Besut. I might be arriving one day earlier to avoid any interruption ..
is there any hotel in Kuala Besut which just nice and reasonably priced?
I just need a rest/sleep from the long drive before hitting the island

There is many guesthouse around Kuala Besut, you can try Yaudin Guest House.....

I'm going to Perhentian next week? Any good suggestion what to do there beside snorkeling?

You can try canoying, jungle trekking, fun dive, fishing & many many beach activities ............ sound great?

Overnight at Sutera Beach Resort or Gem Beach Resort would be nice.Just 30 minutes from Kuala Terengganu Town .I`m not recommend you overnight at Kuala Besut because the accommodation are not too good but If you not mind for accommodation paying less RM30 per night,well I wish you sweet dream

Added on May 21, 2010, 9:25 pmJungle Trekking from Long Beach Perhentian Kecil to Solar Panel at Wind Mills ..among the best view . .Its take 1 hour to reach there.
Squid jiggling would good activity because Its squid season..April , May and June.If you willing to pay more then RM500 to charted the boat.
