Hi, I have successully added some subtitles to MKV movies that didn't come with subtitles. But I encountered an error in one of the movie. I have opened the .srt file in notepad and located the error, but I don't know what the number code after the time code mean. Anyone can help me out? e.g this 3 lines below, what do the codes in Bold mean? "1300 01:40:36, 264 --> 01:40:39, 700 What if I could direct you" Thanks for any help, I am new at this subtitle thing, so I am quite stupid This post has been edited by Ngto: May 24 2010, 10:29 AM

Thanks for your help. It is just 1 corrupted line, so I think notepad will suffice for now.

QUOTE(FinFin @ May 26 2010, 04:59 AM) why edit the notepad? Just rename the .srf file to make it same as your movie name. Example: your movie file is: mymovie1.avi rename the .srf file into: mymovie1.avi.srt . Do you understand what I am talking about or not ? This post has been edited by Ngto: May 26 2010, 07:40 AM
