Hi all sifus... I've bee searching high and low in this website and didn't see this model being discuss. Wondering is there any user for this model: Samsung 40C5000 or probably the same range C5000? How is the PQ if Compare with the great C530/C550/C650? By the way I was surveying some price around today in Carrefour, I was quoted RM4499 (or somewhere similar) + BD player + 1 year Byond free subscription. Any feedback/opinion are welcome... need your input is this a good tv and good deal? Thanks.

I'm in the process buying this TV, 46" C5000, before plan to take C6900, but same price with 6" diffrence, but what I need just USB 2.0 Media Play and All Share, dont need 100Hz so much. If I get this week I will give review.

Yups, retail price is RM7,499 for both model..but I get for RM5999. 46" and 40" is big size difference..haha.. yups, should get because free give is from samsung not shop. ^^

Mind telling how you got it for RM6K? What's the free gift fr samsung?

I surveyed some electrical shop, and found one. Actually taking AEON Easy Payment, will be RM226 monthly for 36 month with RM1 deposit ^^

O... so it's including the BD player + Astro? Hmm... wonder will you get the 3D glasses or not haha...

yups...standard promo.3D glasses only get when you purchase 3D TV, C7000 for LED..but still not worth it to buy now. wait more, HD TV is enough for now ^^..

Yea, agree... they standard is not fixed yet, probably they will come out with new standard by end of the year (that's what i read)... So, when are you getting your TV?

how does this perform compare to the B6000 series?

the things I know is USB 2.0 Movie support, and all share(DLNA).. and 2010 LED technology improved and power consumption decrease more to 55% if not mistaken.

One thing i found out not good is the Byond thingy... I guess it will be only applicable for existing Astro user. Or else it will be forfeated? Any idea on that?

Not sure about that, but maybe you can applied Astro first then apply this promo.

Probably need to cos my Condo here the normal local TV signal reception is bad, no central arial or the central arial is not functioning wel...

BUT this promo says Samsung 46C5000 is RM7499, where got RM5999?

Sometimes they will give discount... like my case I checked in Carrefour price listed as 5999 but i was given RM4699 (or RM4499, can't really remember) with all the free gifts.

That is retail price..usually can get cheaper if you buy at small shop, but not sengheng,hlk,harvey norman, or other similar company...
