But I really like the looks of that Oldskool. It'll go perfectly with my Hifiman. Everyone will think I have a 70's cassette player and headphone!

Seriously, if grado is your cup of tea + a bit of bass - the oldskol is just right on the spot!

Well.....I would really like to get them. I have a thing for old school looking headphones. I think they're the best looking out there.

However I already am planning on a Future Sonics Atrio. If I had known about the Oldskool earlier, I may have bought that instead of the Grado, and it wouldn't collide with the Atrio.

Oh well, you will definitely hear from me again, about the Oldskool. Just, not now.

hi william, is the fa-004 going to benefit much from an amp? like fiio e7 or e11 kind of amp. or should i keep the money for a better headphone?

My advise is cheaper amp will not benefit much. So what you can do is to collect money for a good amp (for your future headphone), so you can pair it with the FA-004 then only upgrade to a better headphone. This way, you get to enjoy more with your amp instead of headphone>upgrade headphone>buy amp.

There are a lot of good amp around. My trusty best bang for the buck amp is the udac:)

between FA-003 and FA-004, there is a huge price gap, same to DBA-02 and Eterna, planning to bring anything in to fill the gap?

For the headphone, we have the oldskool currently. The FA-011 will be brought in soon.
