although you get the chop from the college/uni for your friend but he doesn't have the student ID to prove it at all. Because the TMpoint will photocopy of your friend's student ID and IC on the spot. anyway! wish u all the best

okay, so the applicant name is stated your friend's name or his friend?

the TM stuff never ask me to submit the offer latter...i just show them the the chop and ID, everything gao dim for me.

yea,depends on the situation. anyway, verify and show them.

when you apply it? i heard last time TM just only need the chop. but TM is smarter now, it needs to see your ID first only further the process.

so have you chopped your application form?
maybe you can try and see. who knows right...

i had waited a week and my order status still remain in admin/processing. Normally HP take how long to ship out the good?

does anyone here tried to change the delivery address? This is my current situation, i had used my name to apply the cooluni pack to my sister but she is working and unavailable to help me sign for the netbook. i'm a student so my time is more flexible and adjustable for the delivery. so does anyone here could suggest your idea base on your experiences? thank you so much!

your oder date is on 30th jun, where is your shipment number?

well, what i'm required to provide the courier while i'm not there and i'm gotta order someone to sign for me.

anyway, i'm waiting my netbook too, and it's 2 days later from your order date. so far it just entered to "Production" status but what i seen it has a number on "shipment #"column, but your is empty. Btw, don't care about it. you just start counting 14 of working day from your "order date" excluding weekend. Maybe it should be earlier, so your netbook will be reaching to you this week^^ good luck to you!

Added on July 12, 2010, 11:21 amyup, you can! as long as your bro is a coll/uni student! you need to pay RM88 for the 4MB package but before you apply the 4MB package, make sure your area support up to 4MB. but what i'm suggest is apply 1MB first and only upgrade to 4MB later (if you are not confirm)

what you require are stamp/chop from college, IC, ID and offer letter

Added on July 12, 2010, 11:31 amIt is Sunday, just let the TM send out the order to HP first, maybe you can call to HP tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, i think you should get it your order number.

After your line has been activated, the netbook is fully in-charged by HP instead of TM, so the TM won't entertain you. After you get know your order date, you can start counting the 14 of working days. good luck!

yup! you can upgrade it

since the confirmation slip is printed out for you which mean your registration is keyed in to the TM database. so you can check the status anytime. Now the thing you can do is just wait for the installation come. good luck!

yup, the comfirmation slip is written up on the header and it's printed in A4 size paper, so the one you keep is blue colour?
you can try to key in your phone number and ic to check your status online.
