QUOTE(kkhong @ Jun 12 2010, 12:00 AM) If not mistaken, a 'username' and correct 'password' can be used throughout Malaysia. For example, if I got a 1mbps 'username+password', then my line will become a 1mbps line from any speed. But this can only be supported up to 2mbps, not 4mbps line. What she said was true? I still have 1.5 years left (18 months), so I still have to pay 18 x Rm65 = Rm1170. Anyway, I just think that rm600 penalty is kind of expensive because I don't spoil any of their product (such as wireless modem or widget and so on). I just think Rm600 penalty is kind of ridiculous. If my friend house got streamyx also, can i just log out his streamyx and type my own username and password then enjoy erm, my 1 mbps line than his 512 kbps line? |

QUOTE(lordzarx @ Jun 13 2010, 03:29 AM) owner A hav 512kb package.... oo.. and owner B hav 1mb package owner A can use owner B account but the line is capped at 512kb...so max speed only 512kb owner B can use owner A account but max speed only 512kb because the account is capped at 512kb is this true? QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Jun 13 2010, 03:42 AM) it depends on both account cap and port cap. Like my case in my hometown, my port is adsl2+ port and capped at 2mbps. Means i can use accounts up to 2mbps and can achieve 2mbps speed. But if TM changed my port to just 512kbps, even if i got 4mbps account, it will only reach 512kbps the max. I see. Can a single modem use 2 different id to log in? |

I haven't receive my HP netbook yet then i recheck again from HP website, it said Order Status: Delivered ( with a green tick beside it) Does it mean they already delivered the netbook? And the worst is, does the netbook deliver to wrong address?

By the way, after taking up the battery, i notice there's a slot for sim card. Can i really put sim card in it? What is the difference between wireless card G and N ? I had sent an email to HP due to 1 year warranty but HP replied me this:
" Starting from Jan 1st, HP will stop free support for out of warranty Consumer Notebook . And from Feb 1st, No free support for out of warranty Commercial Notebook. Alternatively, you have the option to seek self-help support from our website at www.hp.com/go/bsc or you can bring your notebook to Service Center for chargeable support. " (HP's email ) |

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Jul 11 2010, 06:39 AM) Urs still under warranty right? U got right to enjoy the service then... Yep still under warranty, but i checked the warranty status in HP website , it stated just 1 year of warranty only. Btw... The "email HP" function at hp website quite useless. Straight send ur email to hp carepack will be better QUOTE(steventan85 @ Jul 11 2010, 09:24 AM) I cant got back the email that i sent.I wrote something like i had confirmed with Tm staff that the netbook from coolunipack package was came with 2 years warranty, but i notice it in the HP warranty status checking website that it stated that it's just 1 year warranty. I demand an explain from them. |
