lol ... before the contractor came yesterday ,i tried to check through there but ended up with no result , but now i got the msg above ..

today the technician come to my house to install streamyx, but since the dsl light not blinking, the technician cannot do anything other than installing the modem

how long need to wait until the dsl light started blinking

Oh really hope it works at my area Y.Y i'm like the only 4mbps white mouse at my area.... all my neighbor are waiting me to get .Probably they said wait 3 hari. so mean i need to wait 5 days from today.

instead of waiting 3 hari i waited 3 minggu .. lol !!!!!
but they promise me can done in 3day. they just give me my account to me and they said need to wait 3 hari for technician to come test if can't support need to register again.

My situation is upgrade from Standard Streamyx 512kbps to Uni Pack 512kbps.

So streamyx charged me total net RM53.00, no setup, installation, activation or crappo fees, so no need to worry got all the extra fee lar! the charge is only the broadband fee.

So this is my story for my 1st Cool Uni Pack bill

is there any MANUAL given/provided with the FREE Riger Wireless Modem ??

argghh .. i got the riger db108 modem last week , was using until yesterday the contractor came , due to the internet light is not on at the time he wanted  to do setting ,then he used the new modem that he brings along ( innacomm w3100 ) , then did the settings .

just i off the innacomm modem and when i on again , all lights are on and stable , the internet light is blinking . but i cannot access to internet =="

then i switched back to riger modem again and accessing to internet . but i log into 192.168.1.1 , the streamyx account id is not mine ...

for the wireless configuration , is same as i set for this modem .

do i need to type in my streamyx id n passwd and save/reboot it now ?

don have . but i found the user manual from the riger website

the tech guy gave me innacom wifi modem, everything is inside in the box, completes with cable, manual, cdrom, phone cable, splitter, etc etc

lol, i duno why the Manual, CD is missing...  

is the Innacomm WiFi Modem is the BEST??   

i wonder need to make it pass o not . previously was all pass . i cant load live drama from pps after the contractor came to do setting :~

yaya, I also got 1 instruction paper only... DUN have the book-liked Manual...

no CD too..

but i think the CD is not important, right?

most important must have MODEM + LAN CABLE + TEL CABLE + SPLITTER ?

The other day HP called me and made sure that I would be home to receive the netbook.
No other people can get the netbook other than you.

One Question for the Netbook Warranty period , as my knowledge , it should be 2 years warranty from hp right ?

but on the seriel number stated in the netbook , it state 1 years ,

any conflict u all face ?

It was mentioned that HP couldn't update the warranty period on time.
So the best way is to give them some time to update.

thats bad..end up 210 no stock...and those in need of netbook get nothing..since got quota..

i guess since it's free don't complaint so much den....
got is better then none.
