Hi, I'm new in mmu and now in bachelor degree studies. Very confused Can I know what means by credit transfer? If I transfer credit from my previous result, then if my previous result got B, after transferring it will be B also? I still need to pay for examination fees after credit transfer? Do I need to still attend classes after credit transfer? Where to do credit transfer? I got a few list of subjects I want to do credit transfer as I am transferred from another college to here. Just wondering what are the terms and conditions. And where to get the MMU sticker for parking?

QUOTE(iampokemon @ Jun 7 2010, 07:20 PM) Hi, I'm new in mmu and now in bachelor degree studies. Very confused Can I know what means by credit transfer? let's say for engineering, the total credit transfer is 139, and you are granted credit transfer for 1 subject of 3 credits, thus you only need to take 136 and get 'credit' for the one you transfered. If I transfer credit from my previous result, then if my previous result got B, after transferring it will be B also? yes, but it will not be counted in the overall results.I still need to pay for examination fees after credit transfer? No, since you dont have to take that subject.Do I need to still attend classes after credit transfer? No, refer aboveWhere to do credit transfer? faculty office, fill in the credit transfer formI got a few list of subjects I want to do credit transfer as I am transferred from another college to here. Just wondering what are the terms and conditions. the panel will look at the course equivalency and see if it's fit to grant you credit, forget how many percentage matching. And where to get the MMU sticker for parking? get the form (buletin board), pay at finance, bring receipt and completed form to security office.reply in bold This post has been edited by Human Nature: Jun 7 2010, 07:41 PM

Thanks for the answers. So if I credit transfer, I got back the same result from my previous exam, and if I got a B grade means that my GPA will get B level GPA? Correct me if I'm wrong. Most of my previous grades are not that good.

QUOTE(Yang921 @ Jun 7 2010, 09:41 PM) sorry, may i know whether every tutorial class is cancelled during this very first week ? Most of the time, the lesson has just begun, thus no point of having tutorial this early. Most likely, its not stated in the schedule also, so cancel is not the correct term haha.

QUOTE(chewinggum @ Jun 7 2010, 09:54 PM) manusia semulajadi , most of the tutorial class is at lab ? Not necessary, depends on the subject. Engineering for examples, if PCs are required, then it will be in PC labs, drawings will be in drawing labs, etc. Most cases, just normal tutorial rooms. p/s its sifat manusia, lol

Wow, time flies. New intake again. I have already graduated, earlier by 2 trimesters. Supposed to finish studies only in last trimester but finished it off in first trimester. Oh ya, if you have doubt in getting job after your studies completion in MMU, fear no. We are in high demand and make sure you brush up your English. I got mine way before I finished my internship, my internship company and a few other MNCs. I chose to continue my employment with my internship company because it is a very reputable MNC. Good luck and all the best! This post has been edited by fruitie: Jun 7 2010, 11:46 PM
