Hi Guys,

I am new in the property scene and am looking for a place to call home. A friend of mine is trying to sell me a condo in Seri Puri @ kepong. Wanna get some feedback about that place as i'm not from that area (staying in USJ at the moment).

The unit is facing the city and has a somewhat open view of the city. Located on the 8th floor. Built-up area is around 1100 square foot with just some basic furnitures (build in cupboard in master bedroom, 2 beds, kitchen cabinet, cooker and hood).

The asking price is RM 225,000 which i think is a little steep for a sparsely furnished condo. Maint fees is around RM 150 a month. I've taken a look on iproperty and there are units which are being listed at RM 180,000.

As i don't plan to move in so soon, i would like to know the rental market for the area as i want to rent it out tentatively (for about 1 year). Please give your best advice as i've been looking online for info about that area but so far only got some basic stuff.

That place/ area is a hell place of traffic jam and full of foreign labours....

Renting is not high as no major commercial activities in that area.... except factories... that's why you will see so many foreign labors there.....

Pangsapuri Menara Menjalara, Bandar Manjalara is a better option if you want to buy it as rental property or for your stay....

There are many shops and eating place around that area, more factory are coming up at KIP. The Condo was selling at about RM180k-220k before now has gone up to RM260k - 300k. Rental is ok, fully furnish about RM1200 - RM1500 . Empty unit is around RM950-RM1000
