Interesting product. May I know who's the manufacturer? Just need some insight on its built quality

It's definitely not from Canon, that much is certain. My suppliers do not reveal to me the origin of manufacture, but they do mention that the cups come from the same factory which made the original 70-200mm models for Canon during the Vancouver Winter Games. Concerning quality though, right now the 24-105 model is of better quality compared to the 70-200, even the paint texture. Do refer to the pictures in the first post.
