With these HSPA+ deployments, it's going to make TM's ageing ADSL network obsolete in no time and give them a run for their money.
Until they can mass deploy their FTTH network, people will favor the higher speed packages as much as they could get.

QUOTE(LightningFist @ Nov 7 2010, 02:46 PM) Oh I see, thanks Evoque. After all, Maxis sold us the modem, why not use it The code you enter (EMEI) will be the code for your new SIM (i.e. UMobile)? A one step process? The modem is not SIM locked but you might want to update the dashboard to the generic Mobile Partner one.

QUOTE(Modernwarfare2 Nooblet @ Dec 31 2010, 10:03 PM) maxisbb showed up as apn not bbnet on d modem. Both APN is usable for Maxis Wireless BB Just don't use unet which is for Maxis's mobile internet. This one runs like tap water and once you finish using up your quota, it goes PAYU.

QUOTE(twhong_91 @ Apr 30 2011, 08:38 PM) Hehe guys, I just switched to Maxis bb. Do I need to set any password for it to prevent other people from using my bb? You definitely can't afford to do charity by providing a free hotspot to your neighbours using your Maxis BB connection. That I can guarantee you.

If you use the Mobile Internet plan yes but the CATCH is once you exceed the quota, you'll be charged by pay as you use and you'll start paying by hundreds without knowing.
