They just started shipping the cases and have lotsa mixed reviews.

Cons:

1. Slider case which may cause your SP to bubble
2. 2 piece design however manufactured separately
3. Misalignment with the top and bottom piece
4. May experience signal and/or gps loss (like all aluminum cases)
5. No built in sleep/wake button

Pros:

1. No need wait for few months unlike Vapor
2. Priced at USD59.95 with a flat rate of USD10 for international shipping to Malaysia
3. Cool minimalist design

generally all SPs affect the oleophopic coating would be affected. Otherwise there is no issues with the retina display if u choose to use clear SPs.
*
yeap.. original iphone 4 screen already has oleophobic coating. and its not -all- SP. there's one exception..the SGP Oleophobic, whereby you still have an oleophobic coating on the SP.

anyway..some pictures to share for the SGP Oleophobic.. one who doesn't know won't be able to tell there's an SP on it visually. of course if you run your fingers on the home button you'll feel its there. the SP is really invisible and doesn't deterioriate the retina display

I think the bulkiness is about the same as Vapor just that Aluma has a deeper cover which makes it look bigger

Don't think its release here so soon as I recalled it just launched on Oct 15 for the gunmetal color. There is a forumer here bulking them in - look up for mandyxt

Also I hope you do know the plastic cover is very thin. Read a few reviews where they broke the bottom part when putting it on.

btw, ppl, my iphone casing is a black bumper and the back with carbon fiber

the thing i wanna ask is, when we put the iphone in the pocket right, should we put the iphone front facing inside or outside of the pockets better??

i usually put the front of the phone facing my foot (the back facing outside) but most of my time, the screen will be quite dirty..

if puttin the front facing outisde right, im afraid sometimes might damnage the screen...how do u all guys put yr iphone4??

thanks

from what you explain above, seems like you kinda paranoid to damage the screen..

just put a screen protector la bro.. if you have and also afraid u damage the screen protector (which can so easily be change imo).. then get those leather flip casing/slip on or hip pouches to compliment.

getting worried and thinking which side to face your iphone while putting in your pocket, imo really wasting your energy worrying too much for a piece of tech biggrin.gif

Actually I never heard anyone complaining about pouches damaging your screen protector before.

The only negative side on using a pouch is there is a chance your phone will be exposed without any protection. A good option would be Waterfield pouches/jackets however you only can get it by ordering from US. If you are looking for something with a bumper fit then Waterfield is the way to go.

Or if you want cheaper and locally available ones then I guess Capdase or Marware would be your next options. However their current cases are nto made to fit bumpers.

To me either way both sides are of the same material so not much difference which side its facing. But I am placing into my pocket with the screen facing my lap - mainly cause its easier when I reach for the phone to answer calls tongue.gif

Wah this one really OCD... I now only do thorough cleaning about once a week. The ports are the main headache to clean, all the dust like to camp in there.

However you can consider getting the Waterfield Suede Jacket with Bumper fit to solve your OCD haha
