I bought this PS Air jacket (clear type), it fitted nicely to the IP4 and hardly c the case is there, really happy with it..........................but until today I drop my phone from about 3feet height and guess what the case cracked!!!  ohmy.gif

A good case will protect de fone during an accident even if de case itself needs to be sacrificed. Like usss, they will give up their live so dat president will survive.
I'm using ps air jacket clear back n it's quite good. Thin enuff n nice feel compared to sillycone types.
Of course I prefer sgp sp matte.

ahh.. ok.. didn't realise that!

anyway just saw this on twitter:

http://plixi.com/p/50221008

Someone drop phone without casing, less than 1 meter.. pretty disastrous!
*
This is so serious! Poor thing. But it all depends on how you drop it, how did it hit and the surface of the place you dropped onto. My friend dropped it from a meter high onto the road and the stainless steel band just cracked a bit but it's not obvious at all. The issue is, no one knows whether this person did dropped it from a meter high, and how did he dropped it? There's no proof. I wonder how did the glass break so seriously. A simple drop on roads or carparks just won't cause this to happen. Despite the iPhone 4 is much thinner, I assume that the glass is a lot stiffer compared to it's predecessors. I dropped my very first iPhone from the 1st floor to the ground floor, step by step down the staircase and the glass was fine, just that I had to pay 700 bucks to fix the cracked display panel, as it showed funny colour lines on 1/6 of the display. God!

Anyway, just don't try to drop it, AT ALL. Such a 9.3mm thin device is just to delicate to take this. And sometimes, even good casings don't help. So, just take good care of it, and only lend to people whom you trust.

I need a battery pack without a phone casing since I already have a bumper case on. I prefer using a bumper case  biggrin.gif

I'm considering either morphie juice pack reserve/boost, mili power angel or kensington.

Get the Sanyo Eneloop Mobile Booster,
power rated 5000mAh, quite powerful,
but charging abit slow, coz it charge at 500mAh,
so, would take about 3-4 hours for fully charge compare you charge with the normal power adaptor.

Price wise <RM200, quite worth it,
but the way, do look carefully, there is 3 model in total,
get the 5000mAh model, price wise not expensive a lot compare to low end model.
There is one forumer selling, can search in trade zone.

is it a matte finish or clear finish? i haven't seen the PS anti-glare in person and would love to learn more about it. most anti-glare/anti-fingerprint in the market are matte finish. but if its matte, it shouldn't have rainbow effect.

you can try the sgp oleophobic SP. oil resistant and no rainbow-ing.

PS Anti-glare is matte finish.

To me oil resistant is more of a gimmick as it just means that its easier to wipe away which all expensive SP are able to do. However ppl market it as oil won't even be visible on the SP.

matte. i thought all anti-glare have matte finish? same thing right?

clear is the one w/o the rainbow effect. even cheap ones dun have that effect. anti-glare, matte, anti-fingerprint or whatever u call it, always got rainbow effect. but cheap ones are horrible, expensive ones not that bad

There is a thread, but I am not sure which section already, search function will help though. I didn't have any unit of that, maybe you can ask the owner in the thread.

It doesn't look as good as mophie and exogear battery pack IMO tongue.gif
sumore the power rated is 1200mAh, compare to mophie and exogear are rated higher mAh,
but sometimes lower mAh doesn't mean less power supply to ur iphone,
depends on the power transfer efficiency.
