[WTA] HTC - Legend or Desire, which oh which??

i've been thinking for awhile...legend n desire, both are very different hardware phones, legend wins anytime on design, but desire's internal hardware seems to peak it off legend..as for price (dun mind AP sets), legend is stocked to 1800+ while desire is 200+ off wid d lowest i witness, 2040...
 honestly speaking, d aluminum body is SOOO attractive  , i choose to bliv the urge to buy legend over desire is bcos of its body, but den again...value for money?? advantages over disadvantages...??recommendation and advise from you htc/android/phone-trading experts??
