U r using a multi region BD player I presume, the Day After Tomorrow shd be region B locked.

Brilliant PQ in 1080x1920, init? 

Just wanna ask whether the single disc Alice BD US is similar (content-wise) to the 1st disc of the 3-disc Combo version... anyone knows? 

I'm not using multi region BD player.
Blu-ray.com stated The Day After Tomorrow to be region A&B
I guess their information also not accurate !!
Need to keep the movie until I buy multi region player one day 

I think is same since release by same studio and just remove the 1 DVD and 1 Digital Copy.  I ordered the 1 disc version instead of 3 discs version.

It its more accurate. As a rule of thumb, Fox (99%) is region locked. Some releases from Fox are not though. But most are.

Warner is almost (99%) region free.

Paramount/Universal also almost always region free.

Still better to check.

That is considered ok lo.  One of my parcel nearly stay in POS office for about 1 month before deliver to me...

The other unfortunate news today, is that director Guillermo del Toro has backed out of The Hobbit, after many long months of frustration trying to get the project going with producer Peter Jackson and Warner Brothers. Let me tell you, as someone who LOVED the Lord of the Rings  films, this is upsetting in the extreme. When Guillermo was announced as the director of the two Hobbit  films, after Jackson said he'd only produce, it was definitely a "dream come true" match. Guillermo was - IS - perfect for the job. But after after TWO YEARS of delays by the studio, he finally had to bow out in order to take on other work he wanted to be part of. What a damn shame! Warner was handed (when they absorbed New Line) what could and should have been a surefire hit, based on a property that's a proven film success and that almost everyone loves.
