After speaking to both String and Edoras, my iPad has become more capable happy.gif Thanks to String for enlightening me how to put nice cover art for TV and movies in iTunes which incidentally made me want to put more stuff on my already fully populated 16GB >.< and Edoras for bringing up Calibre and suddenly it is so much nicer to read PDFs in iBook ePub format happy.gif

Was late for work this morning as I was busy converting stuff for the iPad haha
*
I am glad that it solved your problem.
Even though its not that perfect but it still much better than reading a normal PDF file... rclxms.gif

No iPad launch in Hongkong....

I am now in Tokyo. Official Apple Store in Shibuya do not stock any iPad accessories. But I can see some iPad cases and bags at other computer shops. But not that many here...

Added on May 18, 2010, 5:23 pmA simple question to those with iPads: Do you guys bring out your iPad when you're out and about, and how much more inclined are you to use them in public?

I notice that , even when mI'm out meeting the guys for the Tumpang item distribution, they're not inclined to use them or be seen using them. May I ask why? I'm suspecting fear of being robbed, but I'd rather not speculate and get the real answer.
*
I have yet to use the iPad wifi in public hotspots or in public.
The shyness is still there... probably...
Either I use most of the time at home or at the office...

But again, I don't see the need to have access to Internet every time with my iPad.... If I want to access the net, my best alternative option is still my iPhone 3GS... biggrin.gif

I dont think its suitable to bundle the microsim and iPad together... I mean its not a phone, its some sort of a netbook/laptop... So it will only be sold at apple store/resellers as other macbooks etc..
*
If this is the case, why not other telcos like Celcom and Digi don't offer micro-sim too?

Looks great but somehow the way that it holds the iPad can be very risky. Saw some youtube videos that shows iPad can be accidentally fall from the grips..

oh ya guys, need to get screen protector or no?
*
Definitely!
2 reasons..
1) Protect from scratch
2) Will not leave thumbprints on the screen. otherwise, you always need to wipe with a cloth..

http://www.happyowlstudio.com/the-wallet.html

if you're not into the pockets, there's the wallet lite.

material looks nice and the case offers pretty good protection. but as always, shipping is mid to late june.  doh.gif
*
It looks nice with the pocket but however making it stand and also putting an object under looks very awkward... blink.gif

*
When MyWi is running, the battery drained much faster.
When MyWi is not running, its just as normal.

However, it doesn't shown any iPad apps under the Features tab yet.. tongue.gif

You can do a search with a keyword "iPad", and it will list all the Pad apps.

I ordered pogo stick 2 pcs from amazon.. Saw reviews recommend this one..

Usually rubber tips only work on iPad or iPhones.. Other conventional stylus don't work.. biggrin.gif
*
I think it depends on the Screen Protector that we put on.
I tested on my iPhone which has Privacy Filter SP, it works badly. Can't even open the slider. Too slippery for the pogo stick tip.

Wow... I saw that one too ... How's the "feeling"? Is it comfortable?
We cannot find this in Malaysia yet?

But the one I mentioned above looks like a very good padding.
