The line for iPad has started at Apple Store SYD. Didn't notice earlier coz it's close to bus stand and they looked like they're waiting for the bus. Was informed by Clarissa, one of the friendlier Apple Genius here that they've been out there since 2am! Good God!



Pardon the size, it may be big, uploaded straight from iPhone using Photobucket app, and no option to resize. If I use the iPad, I can resize, but I don't wanna risk being mugged. Therefore, picture is spoilered, and please don't quote the pic on your post. It'll just misalign the entire thread. Thanks.

no. they are premium resellers.

even the online one, is being handled by the singaporean side.

australia is very lucky to an extend, that it has apple stores.

so much so, that there are 2 (chadstone and doncaster) near me!

we only have stores selling apples which are not bitten

Talking about hot beverages, you need one here, it's getting chilly. Sydney folks are starting to wear their winter clothes bit some are ridiculous! Arm and leg warmers that makes them look like arms of a hairy baboons or legs of a wooly mammoth?

How's the situation in the US now? Heard from friends can't buy over the counter in NYC. Got to wait 7 days at least.

Wah Lau ...even US have no stock but still our forumers want more cheaper to buy it from us...hehehehe

Good thing about cold weather is the iPad screen gets less smudgy & less fingerprints - I noticed that I needn't wipe the screen so much compared to over here; must be due to less sweating over in those cold climate countries I guess

I've never been to an Apple-related launch before. Can't wait to get to Chermside tomorrow!

All bros with iPad.. am considering getting one. What's your experience using it - I am looking for casual surfing and reading.

1) do you find the inability to open different web pages in tab problematic?

2) are you able to read PDFs - which i intend to do a lot.


Any form of feedback would be helpful.
