you have to visit their site "http://stores.ebay.com/SoccerAuthentics", coz that is where they update most of the time...if u search other ebay, for example eBay UK, u might not be able to find them there if they dun list the item in eBay UK.

yeap, its heat resistant, but that is just my observation. Maybe different iron or different setting have different effect? And besides even though it is heat resistant, it is hard to iron over it coz of the rubber material...high friction tongue.gif. So still better to cover the stripes with cloth or used plastic film that you keep etc.

New MU kit with full Lextra printing and badge:

For those who wanna DIY, take note that the patch seems to be less sticky to the striped part. What i did was to use the tip of my iron and press on that part, and use more force.

i find it weird for the guide to say to put the patch on the left side of the stripe on the left sleeve. if u apply the patch on the left, as per the guide, this will be how it looks like:

user posted image

as you can see, it's just too much at the front part! not centred at all.

Refering to Sid
From your picture, it really looks weird, may be Sid made mistake on this, i don't have the latest home shirt so couldn't verify, it seems the patch for the left sleeve should put on the right of the stripe instead smile.gif

Like this

*
i do not dare to say SiD is wrong or not, but with the right stripe already on the front part of the sleeve, putting the patch on the left side of it will place the patch even more towards the front part of the sleeve. that's just my point la, as illustrated from the pic i posted. as you can see, nearly 95% of the patch will be on the front. if the reasoning behind it is to avoid the crown to be overlapping the stripe, then putting it on the RIGHT side of the stripe seems more logical, as illustrated in your edited pic.

At the end of the day, depends on you guys where u wanna apply it la. To reply Nimrod's question, yes i have applied my patch, and i aligned mine to the center of the sleeve. i wouldnt want my patch to be roughly centered on the right sleeve, and much more frontal on the left sleeve. Maybe Albert Morgan will follow SiD's recommendation, i dunno. same case with the semi-D curve at the back of the shirt la. If you wanna follow players', then u will need to apply the name quite high. But for practical reasons, we usually apply it below the curve.

Maybe those of you who have the shirt and patches, but havent apply, try to tape them according to the guide, and wear it and see? hmm.gif

nvm la Jerseyman, maybe when u receive ur shirt, then u can have a better understanding of what i am trying to say.

PS: middle of the stripe is still not center, it is in fact in the front part. the "middle line" is in fact behind the stripes if u are looking at the shirt from front.

u are right Faiz, at least if in the middle of the stripe, then the both sleeve will look symetrical even though it is not center.

Looks like from kitbag's official photo, the bpl badge is smacked right in the middle of the sleeve.

although this might be an indication, dun forget these photos are photoshopped.

another thing Longamwai, is the front number printed under the USA badge or under the Nike Swoosh? Take a look at mine from Kitbag:

user posted image

I got this shirt for winning 1 of Kitbag's blog contest, so i do not want to make so much fuss over a free shirt. But im not sure if my case is just because of ignorant and careless printer's mistake, or the printing department was given the wrong guide.

They had make a mistake of placing the front numbering. the number should be below the USA badge for the player version.
*
well yeah i am aware of that, i am just curious whether the mistake they make on mine is a random error, or they have got the wrong printing instruction. Seems like longamwai also have his under the Nike, so i believe their printing department got wrong guide from SportingID or sth. or they act smart and assume it's under Nike.

the black shirt with AON sponsor is third kit, while the white one is away...nothing to do with which one they gonna wear first. They will still gonna use the white one if needed before 23rd September, that's just a date for release for fans. In fact, MU gonna wear the white away against Airtricity League XI tumoro night.

PS: i believe we will see a lot of the black shirt being used, as there are a few BPL clubs are wearing red + white combinations (Arsenal, Sunderland, Stoke City)

take the picture of the barcode side of the price tag, that will make it much easier to determine. But from the looks of it, seems ok. and for Adidas WC jersey, i do feel it is a size bigger, or at least half a size.

exactly smile.gif

and by that i can confirm the authenticity of the shirt. as you can see, above the barcode is the country federation code "DFB", "H" stands for Home (if the away shirt will be "A") and JSY is just short for Jersey. Generally, fakes have the "H" and "JSY", but always lack the coutry code. That being said it is a rule of thumb, it does not mean fakes WILL NOT have the 3 letter country code (mostly don't).

Also, you can see the serial number "100900428" above the barcode, and it tallies the code inside the shirt's tag. The 08/09 means the batch of shirt was produced in August 2009.

See? it's so easy for members to post up a pic, and it makes explaining whether authentic or not so much easier for other members. If you were to ask questions like "How to differentiate Adidas authentic and fake?", it will be so much more difficult to answer and most of us just wont bother to, so kudos to you hebaterazzi smile.gif
