I think so, well my MBP13 cracks but heck, called Apple and they quoted me RM800 changing to panel ..then i let my brother use the MBP, so far is ok because he's not a gamer ..and Macbook Air also got problems iirc ...

Well, that's true, there's no doubt that Macbook is famous (well maybe) in your U in London...but then again, only based on London, do you know worldwide window-based laptop are way ahead of Macbook...

You think based on the poll, people voted Apple (Macbook) because of its price, please do read again few posts back and see why we listed Macbook as one of the worst laptop for 2010...Using Window in Macbook is just , not that i denied that everyone have their own preferences when comes to what they want to use and all but then again, its your choice....see Acer, No 1 in worst laptop, do you think you know why? Large community of users so the percentage of defective units is way larger, do you see any of Acer users go in this thread and defend their precious Acer ..we all know about Macbook and HEAT, don't go and blame Asus because they use Asus Mobo, its the design ...

Go to Japan and see if Macbook is popular there or not? South Korea/USA and more ...

Provide us with proofs & facts so that we can silent ourselves from talking back to you...just a simple comment ' famous in my U in London' is mere fiction

Reasonable as BenQ laptop are kind HOT ..and also the problem with NV8M Series ..

Well, there were also the older model like R47/S33w and all but not that famous such as S42/57 because both are labeled under performance laptop

iirc, R47 is quite hot even though running with Integrated, because of the failed cooling design

Cooling fan should do the job, but then again...having a cool laptop without any cooler would be nice right ...

Realistically, there is none when it is equipped with a Dedicated GPU (well, Sager/Asus ROG/Clevo/AW got good cooling design)...want something light and cool, then a Integrated GPU with some cool design would do the job ..like Acer TimelineX 4820T

Well, we already acknowledge this ..and we also trying to stop the debate, but got to make some sense for those who are really ignorant ..i use Window for work, OSX for my multimedia apps and Linux ..

As for Sony VAIO, less user then less vote, simple ..you heard of many complaint but then again, how many if you compared them to Acer & HP ...reason why Dell is low, best aftersales service you can get though their laptop are in a level of OK ..

Yes, some lame question which people would ask over and over again, and i ask again why would people ask that question if the answer is pretty obvious ...well, we are not against OSX or what, just a simple fact :

Why buy Macbook if you are not going to use OSX, got better options that can replace Macbook in terms of quality & price....

We are just amazed on how you would spend RM15k on Macbook only to dissed OSX (which is why Macbook exist in the first place) and permanently using Window in it ...Macbook is built for OSX and its the only machine that can run OSX perfectly...

Well, if you are happy with your investment in Macbook then so be it...no need to argue anymore as we are not arguing about OS here, more on laptop itself ...

We are just stating that there are much more choices (with your budget) that can replace Macbook in terms of performance/price/quality/services ...learn to accept others compliments as we already accepted yours...
