oops, or u actually mean that you wish to have a laptop that can 'last' in technology tsunami long enuf without being obsolete?

5 years ago is 2005 right? hmm...the mainstreams (not alienware or gaming laptop of that era) come with intel celeron M 1.4ghz, 1gb ram, normally come with less than 100gb hard disc drive....normal is 40 only. normally around rm4-5k. laptops were very expensive

Aeon sales counter in penang saw they selling BenQ R55 (RM3999) lower spec: Core duo (bukan core 2 duo),512MB RAM,GF7400,80GB HD

toshiba Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 , 1GB DDRII RAM, 80GB HDD, 14.1" WXGA SSV, Intel GMA 950 DVMT 128 MB rm4k
well..... how wtf u feel now is exactly how wtf u will feel 3 years later, 5 years later.

LOL... very true!
Look at my old M100 which costed RM4k 3 years ago cry.gif
But I guess its okay for 5 years if one only uses it for normal usages laugh.gif

Lenovo IdeaPad Z360

Lenovo Ideapad Z360's resolution is 1366x768 only
Still, its one of the best 13 inchers around offering both sturdiness, power, mobility as well as decent battery life, not to mention cheap! Very impressive thumbup.gif

Thanks for sharing notworthy.gif
You mean the review stated that the battery life is not good?
CULV + 6 cell battery and a 13 inch screen, the battery life should be above average hmm.gif

1) They say one comes with 1GB GT540 whereas the other one comes with 2GB GT540, not sure how true this is...
2) Price is approx. RM2.8k, you'd probably be able to buy at around RM100 cheaper depending on your bargaining skills
3) Do PM jungle_boy, he just bought 1, or you can refer here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1643148/+1780
