Im planning to get a D3000 18-55 kit ( I've stopped using my Olympus because it dissapoints me ... lol ) ... but I have some questions that need answering...  Someone is selling it second-hand for RM 1350. With 14k shuttercount.  Sounds like a really good deal to me lo... but Im here for opinions if this is a good deal.  =)

Today i went to Ipoh fotokem... try the 55-200mm. BTW its made in china lol...
the build quality slightly worst than the 18-55mm vr kit lens.

They have another 55-200mm without VR, which cost around 700+

both oso can be used on D60/D3000/D5000
lens flare caused by filter then remove filter
flare under strong light then use hood
if flare caused by lens internal, then cant do anythg...
take out d filter for d duration u wanna shoot
use high ISO, noise is inevitable, but at least u dun get underexposed pics

1/30s? Too risky, go with something faster unless you are sure your subjects won't be moving at all.

1/30 for dancing is too slow... it'll blur the object...
user faster speeds or boost iso if too dark.

use your flash laaaa 

if you wanna take ppl dancing, should use 1/100s or more ler. but if they are standing still then 1/30-1/60 is ok.
