yupp...
checked already..
haha...

but..
my friend said that he got some "lobang" that sell D90 quite cheap and warranted by nikon malaysia...
d90 with 18-105mm for about Rm2850...
it is a new set and not a second hand unit..
hehe...

so...
still have to save some money la...
haha...

anyway..
will try to get d5000 first....
but,im a little bit worried about the swivel lcd on d5000..
is it potentially to be broken?

plus,is it really true that d5000 have a smaller viewfinder compared to d90??
and if yes, does it effect much on us??

want to ask you something...
as a d5000 user,do you regularly use your camera video recording function??

p/s-how long eh before d90 ceases its production??any guess???
*
even i own D90, i dont use video that much..if wan video,y buy dslr?? outside there have lot of video cam and their quality are better...
cant tell, rumor since last year...but till now still no announcement...

don't always recommend the d90 to the newbies.. if they dunno how to use, why recommend them the d90 for?

as mrjaxx says "don't ever advise me to buy D90.."
*
my 1st dslr is D90..well,D90 ain't hard to use thou..just as simple as it is..especially the two command dial and the top lcd screen...

that the thing..if 1 pic is able to cr8 such a HDR,then no ppl will walk about bracketing and nikon wont have that feature on the new cam the produce...anyways,i dint say tat 1 pic cant produce HDR,just that for those who are lazy, they will prefer take 1 pic and let pc do the rest...

Hi, may I ask d40x can use 16gb memory card CL6?

I wanted to buy 16gb extreme III for my coming Bali trip. Will be going there for 7days. Afraid current 8gb not enough for my shooting. sweat.gif
*
buy 2 8GB instead...at least when one of it spoiled,u still have another...and if u bring ur laptop, there is no need for 16gb...8 gb will be enough..as if u keep shooting,16 gb wont be enough too...tongue.gif

in the case of SD card storage for travelling, my 8gb ultra II managed to store 3100+ Jpeg Fine (medium size) during my 9-day trip 2 weeks ago.

at the begining of the trip, it showed that i can take 1500 jpeg. then along the trip i just shoot, shoot and shoot, and didnt borther about the storage space since i have a backup sd card.

at the end with 3100+ Jpeg (a few RAW, about 10, for nice scenery), i still can take for another 100+. i think the estimation indicated by the camera is not accurate, it's under-estimated.

in conclusion, 8gb+8gb backup is more than enough for a 7-day trip. unless you're a super heavy shooter who shoot more than 1000 shots per day.
*
er..tat one..cant say not accurate lah..the manual itself got say mar..if the card can store more than 1k, then although ur card can store 1050,it still show 1k,1040 still show 1k...
