dark + humid + right temperature = fungus a.k.a cancerous cell
that's why i choose to DIY a dry box...

not very expensive...
just RM9 for a transparent container (make sure it fits!!!)
RM8.90 for 2x dehumidifier rclxms.gif

I don think your dehumidifier will suck out the water la..... It will as u say 'suck' the water inside the container, which prevents moisture to enter your lens or body that provide a comfortable environment fungus growth. Moisture between the air in your box will balance up with the internal of the camera and lens, so dont worry bout the size of your dehumidifier, U will see water accumulation in the bottom of the container soon, so as long as it works, means it's ok.....

my 2 cents
*
talking about container size, not dehumidifier... sweat.gif

smaller container then ur dehumidifier can last longer la.... coz it doesnt need to do so much job

ya lo, i also think this way...

QUOTE(bad melatonin @ Jun 11 2010, 08:09 PM)
but bad things about d diy drybox is that u unable to monitor d actual humidity level & to regulate humidity inside d box to safe level (45% ~ 50%).
*
open container once in awhile as stated ? laugh.gif

55-200 is for the range, if you don't want to get 18-200 then it's best to use 18-55 and 55-200 for the same effect. just that you have to keep changing lenses.
*
wow, so if i have the 18-55 and i wanna zoom to 56mm then i'll hav to change to 55-200 ?

the 55mm in the 55-200 means 18-55's 55 as a starting point rite ?

not too sure if they still have brand new 18-135 in the market, but 2nd hand about 850 i think.
*
Yea, thinking about 55-200, good for the zoom range, but if wanna zoom out, must change between 18-55 and 55-200, which kinda sucks...
18-200 costs too much, how abt 18-105 ?

how much does 1 cost ?
