Hi All,
I was just wondering, is there such malaysian law that allow the management of any condo to stop the unit owner from having an Astro dish to be installed ?
reason being is the building mgt wants it to be centralised... to keep the building look nice without having Astro decoders visible...
but to have it centralised, Astro would require majority of the tenant to subscirbe to Beyond...and not sure when this will happen...

what if i have a strong point such as to installed the dish at the same place as my aircond compressor? do u guys think this would help me out?

really would like to know my rights before i can actually reason with my building management... any tips of hints is much appreciated..

depend on condo management...but you can install further in your condo so it will not visible outside

those better condo will surely not allow ppl to install the dish.. to keep it clean and neat..

so u just have to wait till they get the centralize one...

come to sarawak and you can install the big satellite dish and watch channels for free

my parents place already have that...but too bad, its not HD..

from what i know, after a while, when there's more than majority subscribe to Beyond, Astro will come and updgrade the whole condo for centralise system to all for free, and take down the old individual dish...
some management are just too strict .. and in the end, its the owner yg kena... tension tension...

how about install at balcony? (if the balcony facing to satellite direction)
