My friend works in Wisma Fiamma, supply products for developers. It seems that a few years ago TA was planning huge development (when property price was at its peak), cleared off all the trees and plants of their land. Then the downturn comes, they have issue with their cashflow it seems, everything stopped. TA Global almost gone bankcrupt, then some high status person inject/invest fund into it. Thats as far as the story goes.
From what I heard, TA Global is very cheapskate, they would call up all the supplies of building material etc, ask who wants to market their product in TA's showroom. In comparison, other developers would buy material to be put into their showroom/spend money in their showroom (like Sime Darby, who tells people they are using high quality products).
Till now the Ativo Suites has no progress at least since 6 months ago. If I were you, I won't even think about buying from this project.
