It looks that Samsung doesnt produce IPS panel LCD monitor..am i right?

Have a look at this site : http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/s-ips-lcd-list.php

Which one should i get? (excluding U2311H bcos its not available right now)

Or any other monitor that u can recommend not listed on the site above?

*seems that theres not much choice for IPS panel LCD  sad.gif

And IF i want to buy TN panel LCD monitor.. some choices that i have :

1) Samsung XL2370 23" LCD LED-backlit - do think this is the best TN panel monitor that give the best color (in TN panel range)
2) Samsung P2370HD 23"
3) Alienware Optx AW2310 23" 120Hz Full HD - at 1st i really want to buy this monitor, but considering it high price but using TN panel, i need to think 4-5 times before buying it..is it worth buying this monitor for it 120Hz refresh rate?
5) Dell SP2309W 23" Full HD: CNet rated it as the best monitor for 23" size, XL2370 comes 2nd

Or any other choices and suggestion for TN panel LCD monitor?

And a question : are there any 120Hz IPS panel LCD LED-backlit Monitor in the market right now? (I'm dreaming right?hehe) Cos if there's any, surely i'm buying it    laugh.gif

Thanks for ur response  biggrin.gif

Seeing on your massive rig.. why dont you buy 3d led tv for 120hz display sweat.gif
trust other people, latest ips/p-mva monitor are better than tn monitor(including led), even i still prefer my company old m-pva monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 214T) than tn monitor eventhough the refresh rate is slow doh.gif
saying that tn panel good for gaming than ips/p-mva are wrong for now since the refresh rate for current ips/p-mva are fast nowaday, yet produce really nice colour compered to tn panel, yet lcd tv that used to hookup with ps3/xbox360 are mostly ips/p-mva

Now this is a very noob question.

What the best resolution for my 23" LCD monitor. Currently with 1920X1080.
*
run at highest possible resolution your monitor can support. LCD only runs good at native resolution. At lower resolution, the image look blurs or stretched or not fill up all the screen, thats the cons of flat panel screen

where can compare with IPS laugh.gif

actually va panel are really good to my eye...i already compare u2410 with samsung 214t(not consumer product), and find out va panel are better in colour production, without calibration, its already look better, the downside maybe trailing when touching the panel..that why samsung stay strong on lcd tv market

If VA panel good for your eyes by all means go for it  biggrin.gif

va panel was known for having slow response rate, but the highest-end lcd tv that was used by sony and samsung are using va panel. The only company that make ips panel are panasonic and lg display.Im not saying IPS are bad,but we accept effort from manufacture to produce low price IPS panel for mobile phone and computer monitor to replace cripple tn panel. However how good lcd tech is, i still favor oled and plasma tech whistling.gif

Looking for one that supports HDMI. The U2311H does not support it. Any other suggestions? Thanks

are you requires audio? if ps3 just use the composite cable or optical port to sent out audio
really, nothing can beat u2311h on that price..

erm..does the new benq va panel lcd come out?
