wa. new thread..
any P2770H users? It looks pretty sweet, and I was wondering about the performance and whether it is generally satisfying for its price tag.

what advantage does the u2311h have over the st2410?
the price difference is about rm100 right? for a smaller monitor?
the only difference i seem to see is the mount and swivel.

please advice.

I just spent a whole bunch of time reading about IP-S vs. TN.

In conclusion, IP-S will give better color reproduction at the cost of response time, right? Also.. Dell IP-S seems to have less bleeding and better contrast, but some problems with tint uniformity .

But overall, if you use your PC for EVERYTHING (movies, games, work, photo editing), a Dell IP-S seems to be the logical choice.

Looks like I'm moving more and more towards U2311H. Any alternative you guys recommend for a great 23"/24" all purpose monitor around that price range?
The Samsung P2370H and B2430H was my other choice, but people report bleeding issues with those Samsung TN panels.

I'm using U2311H and i have no idea wat tinting and bleeding problem looks like

tinting is... in simple words..one side of the monitor slightly different color from the other side.
(e.g. one side seems more orange and the other side seems more blue)
bleeding is backlight leaking. meaning that when the screen is supposed to display black, you can see some patches of white (usually from the edges of the screen).
not the technical definition, but it's the best i can come up with lol
