ST2321? TN, I guess it's a normal monitor if you don't mind. If you're very budget and yet want better than normal monitor, then U2311H, good for typical yet better than normal TN panel. Some people on this topic can get this monitor for RM600 with 5 YEARS!! premium warranty, if it's not cheap enough, I don't know what to say.

U2311H is entry IPS, U2711 however is the real deal if you're into design (serious pro), it has better IPS parts than the little brother, higher resolution in one screen.
In the end, it's all depends on person, some like it one big screen, some don't mind to get many small one to eyefinity or nvision them together, you can buy three U2311H or maybe four depends on the negotiation from the U2711 price.

2209wa is the older bro of the U2311H....Mine came last saturday and ever since I'm hooked to it every day [my former CRT samsung 17"]....it's also one of the 1st IPS panel from DELL and former best [2009] ..[maybe until today ha ha ha]...anyway the display is sharp & gorgeous, colours are very rich, easy to adjust [position of monitor], very sturdy built and of high quality......for gaming its a blast.....also very good for movies despite the 16:10 ratio [i dont mine lo]......and I think the U2311H also good la ...now like sells pisang goreng..price also gila-gila....anywy...gd hunting bro

you cant compare these two easily..
u said th st2321l is WLED..
but the 2209wa uses ips panel rather than a tn panel..
that makes all the different despite using normal backlighting..

in conclusion..the 2209wa is far more "keng" then then st2321l..
thats why the price is higher..

How about AOC IF23? I heard its colour excellent, 99% real colour is it?

1 thing the 2209wa lack is the 1:1 bit mapping and its reso is only 1680x1050. Other than that its pretty good. Does the 1:1 bit mapping really matter in games and movies?
