QUOTE(dauf87 @ Jul 21 2010, 01:30 PM) U2410 is using H-IPS panel vs U2311H is using e-IPS panel.. Good info there @ dauf87. Sorry, everling, what I meant was viewing size. One is 23" and one is 24". Well, with the price of U2410 can get almost 2 x U2311H though for dual monitor Comparing both type of IPS panel. H-IPS/S-IPS panel remains the best type of IPS panel.. e-IPS panel r use for mid-range budget monitor like Dell U2310, HP ZW24R or NEC EA231WMi.. The main drawback of e-IPS panel is the viewing angle is smaller than H-IPS/S-IPS panel but still bigger than TN panel.. |

Placed an order thru Dell website on 27th July for a U2410. Received bank calls on 28th July to verify on the transaction and today, received call from Dell delivery agent that my LCD will be delivered on tomorrow.. that's fast
Anyhow, had to push it on Saturday morning delivery so that I can check the stock at the same time.. |

Probably they don't need to verify the transaction kut but never call me? Anyhow, on a serious note.. any difference if I were to attach the monitor with a display port cable vs dvi cable? |

Hi all,
This is information for those who had purchased Dell LCD and experiencing issue with it. Recently I had purchased Dell LCD U2410 with extended 5 years warranty. As soon as I plugged into my PC, I detected there was a bright pixel (pixel in red color on white/grey background) I did call up to Dell tech support and they immediately offered to have it changed as the personnel mentioned that it is still within 30 days period. Hence, 1-1 exchange with a new Dell LCD, not refurbished Therefore, to those who are experiencing issue with their Dell LCD and is still within 30 days period, perhaps you should give a call to Dell tech support team and to discuss with them Hopefully this new LCD free from dead/bright pixels |
