i believe hdmi is important for those who wants to connect consoles to their monitor... but still, it is not very helpful if the monitor does not come with speakers... tongue.gif

If a LCD is equipped with internal speaker... mean as long as the HDMI is plugged in... then there will be audio coming out? And as we knew that HDMI came with both video and audio component...if use a DVI adapter... the audio component will also be converted?
*
with correct settings and what so ever, yes... nod.gif
if using DVI converter, IINM, there will no audio transmitted... hmm.gif

Don't worry, this has nothing to do with your GC. My faulty laptop had the exact same black spots like your monitor. Tt started small but gradually growing bigger like fungus... lol...

guys, whats the different with LCD or LED ? which one is better? i wana get a new one ,any suggestion?

if u noticed, the contrast ratio of LED back-lighted LCD monitor is far higher than LCD monitor... so in terms of image quality, IINM there is no difference between ordinary LCD and LED back-lighted LCD... smile.gif
