The name mandarin come from is because that time British visit China, and Manchu ppl speak in Han's language, so the British people thought Han's language is Manchu's language and they called it 'Mandarin'. It's a misunderstanding actually.

Manchu is one of foreign country colonial super fail story. Manchu have their own language and culture. After they take over China for a few thousand years, they have been totally influence by Han's and lost their culture and language totally. Now it's impossible to find a pure Manchu or pure Han as they have been mixed kao kao.

The time of IP MAN, Manchu virtually not exist anymore because it blend into Han totally.
