my lcd doesnt have internal speaker and HDMI

so how can i connect to it without changing my pc cables?

u need converter.

PS3 HDMI convert dvi --> monitor
PS3 white/red cable convert 3.5mm jack --> speaker

Same case with me, but its a xbox360 only. I bought those HDMI to VGA converter for, like, around RM 50++. Not really a HDMI, since it's a first gen xbox360. Wait till I get back home and I post some picture.

srsly, get a HDMI monitor/ TV

although the samsung monitor that i bought from pc fair last year is small (thx again h/w forum for the help!!!!), the graphic is sweet when hooking onto PS3!!!

and now i regret getting it becoz me lil bro had used it for MGO... i bought that for WoW

For xbox 360, you need to buy the VGA-HD cable.

tv card? if can take input from the yellow cable should be ok, but the game wont be HD lor, better play on normal tv

if use converter will still be in HD?

the problem concern me is the audio only

make sure ur monitor is HDCP supported first then consider buying those converter thingy..

for audio, u can use the white, red wire that came with the ps3.. if u want to use with a computer speaker, buy what typicalsite suggested..

p/s:for the converter i meant the vga to hdmi wire

for ps3 i think you need HDCP monitor if want connect straight away. if not then need to get converter or tv box.
