Im using M1 and the 3.5G is excellent although sometimes the website i am surfing seem to get 'stuck' and I have to refresh several times.

Overall quite satisfied with it. However I believe the network performance is also greatly dependent on where you are using it.

Seems like many people go back to KL often hor? Should start a carpool club edi =P

Anybody went to Sitex this weekend? Crazy jam people. Deals are ok ok only. Most of the ppl there target herd mentality, see other ppl buy then sendiri must buy also.

Together with Keppel, these two companies are well known in the world of rig construction.

Your not working for sembawang shipyard are you?

I heard from the transocean that sembawang shipyard charges them a ridiculous amount of money for services rendered to them, not to mention the docking charges.

Its way cheaper for them to hire the necessary people themselves and do it in malaysia. Oddly enough, its cheaper to hire a fitter and a welder to fly from the US to do the job rather then an indian or bangla worker employed by the singaporean shipyard.

Well if that's the case then Malaysia still have hope =)

I will be bringing my car down to JB after christmas, after that, i will travel back once a month. so if u wanna car pool with me, let me know.
*
Okay sounds like a plan. Let me know when you get your car. Where r you staying? How are you going to keep your car in JB?

Well its not certain that Malaysia will not just do what Sg does...ie pocket the money they subcontract to subcontractors who further subcontract to sub-subcontractors. In fact I think in Malaysia we are rather well known for our subcontracting skills.

Recently Scarabeo 9 came into our yards after being built in Yantai Raffles. The whole rig was completed but for some reason was not commissioned in China. Rig owners are quite smart too to exploit where cost is low. If thats the case Sembawang's modus operandi won't be able to last very long.
