I just heard rumor from one of my friend friend's who is working as Proton Engineer, there will be a couple of new car will be released by proton this and next year, which include WRM with Mivec engine, Perdana Replace Model with above 100k price tag and the best, Persona SE 1.6 Turbo, and the persona model will come with an improved version of campro engine called campro efficient.

If this is true, then BOT will become the norm starting from next year.

new member here. i just book waja cps m-line manual. bank loan not yet approve. i plan to add disc brake for rear wheel because m-line waja comes with drum brake only for rear wheel. anybody can help me? how much it will cost? worth it or not? is it will void proton warranty?

Added on June 22, 2010, 10:36 pmbtw, i like iridescent white color. but the salesgirl said no more iridescent white color. proton not produce waja cps anymore. they just want to clear all existing stock before new model came out at the end of this year. she said they just have 3 colors - black , genetic silver and blue haze. i kind of like the blue haze color but at the end i chose genetic silver color because silver good in hiding dust and scratches, plus good in heat rejection although the color just look plain. but still i admire iridescent white color. huhu

i also dont know that waja cps has m-line. proton do not even have proper flier for m-line. last time the salesgirl just show me the flier (using A4 paper only) that i think made by themselves. people said that proton produces waja m-line to make the price lower so that more people will buy it and proton can clear waja stock faster.

And where got m line waja cps leh? As far as I know, is only hi line. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That the new spec for waja. No leather seat, no abs, no xenon light and no adjustable headlight. Price below rm55k. But not really worth as i buy my manual full spec only at 56k. Give more 3k you get full spec. From what i saw during servicing the lower spec waja, there no quality different. Still same quality part with our waja.

Just replaced my straight flow muffler with top cat s-flow. Result, exhaust sound reduced to almost stock level.

I feel that it hurts performance a bit after 6k rpm, but as expected for s-flow.

Or maybe because of the 97 Vpower I'm using right now, usually I use Vpower racing.

Have any idea where the sustec adjustable come from? I see the most cheaper adjustable now is SUS.TEC around RM790.. Boleh pakai ka?

those sus.tec,gab and mines which was selling at 750 bucks should be of same manufacturer / specification. different is only the color and brand. i've had personally checked one at the shop in semenyih. finally decided to go for apm performax set instead.

but for latest campro, proton no more using siemens. It 'using continentals' brand... Proton change to 32bits just to make more features that can be adjust. 

By the way, I heard some of you saying crack the ecu code. As I know, cps only got 3 features which locked with password which cannot be adjust. But I get the password and re-adjust one of the features called "iginition timing".. Izit this you guy mentioning about?

i guess u guys are being misled here...

the pass code u all mention to adjust the ignition timing etc is a standard spec especially to those who have the software to generate pin for Special Function using PDT/PADT

usually only authorize sc or i-care technician can get the access to the software...

to access the special function just plug in the pdt go to special function and pdt will generate a pin...u key in the pin into the software and it will generate another pin for u to access the special function...yes it can change ur ignition timing but limited to pre-set 4 setting only...and these 4 settings are set for different country usage like Europe and Malaysia...some ppl said if u change the setting to use the pre-set number 1 will give better respond etc but truthfully i think the default setting for malaysia is the best...sorry but i might mixed up the numbering above as i cant really remember which number is for which...

the special function is also used to calibrate ur transponder chip with ur ecu for example if u lost ur transponder chip and feel it is expensive to buy new set from proton just bodek2 ur best friend get his chip n calibrate it so it could work with the ecu...

if u shift at the peak of the torque curve, ur rpm will drop a lot and close to the torque dip area...

ur rpm climb afterwards will be very slow and heavy to reach the peak torque area...

u dont want that...

what u want is for ur rpm to drop at the point where the torque is at peak..

thus u need to shift at 6.5-7k rpm eventho the torque is slanted by bit there but once u change gear the rpm will drop nicely on the peak and avoid loss of power...

But PESC cannot detect my car problem when i park under hot sun in 10min, my car alarm triggered. Do u guy have encountered this & how to fix/solve?

Yeah, adjust the sensor under the front bonnet.

My waja facing this problem.. Steering rack not holding properly by the bush.. Now i waiting for the super pro pu bush and replace it.

i just got mine done at racing z at the mines. RM80 include install. very nice holding the car. hehehehe
