Yeah, the hp is below my expectation. I'm aiming for 120whp. sweat.gif But the torque is nice, most of the time I shift at 6k++ rpm brows.gif


Added on June 14, 2010, 5:56 pmSAFC doesn't contribute much performance (no ignition timing) but only can make the A/F ratio nicer. If got budget, e-manage is a better bet.

Yeah, taikor sleepwalker had clarified this before. The steel type only suitable for short period of time usage like track day as the filtration is poor.

I think what he trying to say is that engine oil will not filter the air although it will meet up in the combustion chamber. The engine oil purpose is to prevent friction and it is designed with the intake air 'filtered' but without a good air filter, it may cause some damage in the long term. For RM100 extra and maybe just a little less hp, why take the risk? <-just my opinion. laugh.gif

Its 'recommended', not compulsory. I'm using 5W40 Castrol Edge.

RM180 at SC + free gift. Spare part shop can get 160+. Buying online is cheaper but afraid its and imitation.

Being told by tuner shop 10W60 is for car prep for track day. He also doing the prep service which include balancing, alignment, brake service etc.

If got extra budget, LCP+damper is a safer bet. Last time I also used undamped LCP on my LMST and after 6 years, it still running fine.

Just replaced my straight flow muffler with top cat s-flow. Result, exhaust sound reduced to almost stock level.
