Just asking, why not other engine instead of the cps?

But e-manage you can sell back 2nd hand or transfer to your new car. The only downside is you need to mod the wiring.

Yeah, taikor sleepwalker had clarified this before. The steel type only suitable for short period of time usage like track day as the filtration is poor.

I think what he trying to say is that engine oil will not filter the air although it will meet up in the combustion chamber. The engine oil purpose is to prevent friction and it is designed with the intake air 'filtered' but without a good air filter, it may cause some damage in the long term. For RM100 extra and maybe just a little less hp, why take the risk? <-just my opinion.

Going to change my straight flow muffler to either s-flow or imitation twin loop. Any comment?

No power in low rpm? What car?

Its 'recommended', not compulsory. I'm using 5W40 Castrol Edge.

RM180 at SC + free gift. Spare part shop can get 160+. Buying online is cheaper but afraid its and imitation.

Yeah, and the rattling sound at 3k rpm will also be louder (in my case) but somehow solved by SAFC.

If got extra budget, LCP+damper is a safer bet. Last time I also used undamped LCP on my LMST and after 6 years, it still running fine.

Just replaced my straight flow muffler with top cat s-flow. Result, exhaust sound reduced to almost stock level.

I feel that it hurts performance a bit after 6k rpm, but as expected for s-flow.

Join the s-flow club. Actually I've decided on the twin loop imitation but cannot for as it is designed for exhaust tip at the driver side.

The problem with stock muffler + 4-2-1 extractor is that it sounded like an empty can.

Nope, The best cruising speed is at 4k rpm.

Or maybe because of the 97 Vpower I'm using right now, usually I use Vpower racing.
