QUOTE(mADmAN @ Jun 14 2010, 01:09 PM) thats a nice improvement... smoother power delivery...and torque only drops after 6.5k AFPR + SAFCII.mind telling wats done to ur car besides ACP retard 4deg? QUOTE(kcng @ Jun 14 2010, 04:38 PM) question... Yeah, the hp is below my expectation. I'm aiming for 120whp. why is it still not 120 PS on wheel even with SAFC? i have lesser hardware then you but i am getting 126 PS on wheel already with peak 168 NM of torque coming in at 5k rpm... if i put in high cams, management, LCP, i will hit 135 - 140 PS easily? but your torque curve is damn nice tho.... Added on June 14, 2010, 5:56 pmSAFC doesn't contribute much performance (no ignition timing) but only can make the A/F ratio nicer. If got budget, e-manage is a better bet. QUOTE(shazmn @ Jun 15 2010, 09:09 AM) hey anyone wanna letgo cps engine for conversion etc please tell me ok...i might buy if price is right... Just asking, why not other engine instead of the cps? keep my hp number 017 25 25 456 QUOTE(b48753 @ Jun 15 2010, 07:17 PM) Someone over Waja forum need some good donors of CPS/Campro ECU to be whack the power. I think if one of you willing to donate maybe you don't even need and the cost is much cheaper than e-manage. But e-manage you can sell back 2nd hand or transfer to your new car. The only downside is you need to mod the wiring. |

QUOTE(b48753 @ Jun 21 2010, 02:31 PM) I don't experience it but someone said the steel doesn't have any good filteration, will make ur injector fail in ling time. So that's why i still stick to the K&N, further it need to be oiled so I'm quite confident on the filteration.. Yeah, taikor sleepwalker had clarified this before. The steel type only suitable for short period of time usage like track day as the filtration is poor. |

QUOTE(markiliz @ Jun 21 2010, 11:26 PM) i don't really understand what you mean by that.. I think what he trying to say is that engine oil will not filter the air although it will meet up in the combustion chamber. The engine oil purpose is to prevent friction and it is designed with the intake air 'filtered' but without a good air filter, it may cause some damage in the long term. For RM100 extra and maybe just a little less hp, why take the risk? <-just my opinion. filtered air goes into the engine for combustion... more or less...it has something to do with engine oil correct me if i'm wrong... |

Going to change my straight flow muffler to either s-flow or imitation twin loop. Any comment?

QUOTE(mrl @ Jun 22 2010, 03:34 PM) no harms done la... i dont think one winter grade less will harm the engine... RM180 at SC + free gift. Spare part shop can get 160+. Buying online is cheaper but afraid its and imitation. sometimes I wonder, why Castrol Edge oils is quite thick... they even got 10W-60.... when I asked the retailer, they said "aiyaaa... castrol fully synthetic xde org mau... tebal sgt" how much do you buy Castrol Edge 5W-40 sphiroth?? Being told by tuner shop 10W60 is for car prep for track day. He also doing the prep service which include balancing, alignment, brake service etc. |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Jun 23 2010, 06:21 PM) anyone tried changing their fuel rails? any idea whats the improvements? Better upgrade AFPR 1st, or with the fuel rail.and can those fuel rails from WORKS be fitted into the CPS engine? QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ Jun 23 2010, 07:18 PM) I found that, changing xtractor will make u listen to garang sound at front. Dont really like that. Yeah, and the rattling sound at 3k rpm will also be louder (in my case) but somehow solved by SAFC. Dunno that becoz of cheapo material or what. |

If got extra budget, LCP+damper is a safer bet. Last time I also used undamped LCP on my LMST and after 6 years, it still running fine.

Just replaced my straight flow muffler with top cat s-flow. Result, exhaust sound reduced to almost stock level.

QUOTE(diablo69 @ Jun 24 2010, 07:35 PM) I feel that it hurts performance a bit after 6k rpm, but as expected for s-flow.QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ Jun 24 2010, 09:25 PM) Me also plan to change back to s-flow. Quite sakit telinga when cruising on highway. Maybe will twin tail pipe like ori but bigger tips. Join the s-flow club. QUOTE(mrl @ Jun 24 2010, 09:32 PM) The problem with stock muffler + 4-2-1 extractor is that it sounded like an empty can. QUOTE(shinjite @ Jun 24 2010, 10:21 PM) Nope, The best cruising speed is at 4k rpm. |
