2) Charges depends on intraocular lens package. Normal lens will cost u 3k+ per eye, toric lens (correct astig) up to 5k, multifocal lens up to 6.5k.

i agreed with them tat u should see them to get a proper quotation and proper check up. it may not be just cataract. a lot of times, it could be something else.

also a lot of counseling regarding type of lens and surgery involved, risk of complications...

and finally, i always believes in "good thing no cheap, cheap thing no good" ... haha

ISEC is among the good one around. Most of the doctors are previously from government hospital. As usual, those good one will resign and join private sectors.

Government hosps are good if u r in good hands. But most of the time u cannot choose who operates on u. Waiting time is terrible. UMMC = 6 to 9 months. Most govrn hosp = 6 months. And of course the extremely crowded clinic.
