My mom did it at GH. Reading tis thread, I don't understand y go to private while GH can do same job at lower cost?
My father in-law also scheduled to do his at GH, after consulted at private specialist. Reason? Why pay more for the same thing?
Other than the technology and lens used mentioned by Lilliput, one can also schedule the surgery as early as same day or next day as compare to long waiting list in GH.My father in-law also scheduled to do his at GH, after consulted at private specialist. Reason? Why pay more for the same thing?
Although time is money, if one can afford then shouldn't be a problem.
Not sure how true is that, heard from others.
Sometimes the surgery might be done by trainee or someone inexperienced in some hospitals.
Prior to surgery, they need to read the power of patient's eyesight too.
Inaccuracy of reading the power, might contribute to variation of results.
One may need to depends on glasses for theirs daily tasks for better vision after the surgery.
As a conclusion, just make sure someone is experienced, certified and qualified to do the surgery for you.
No joke/risk for your eyes.
