i'm using a type of exhaust where there's no ducting required. it sucks the hot & smelly air into the plaster ceiling area. the contractor made a couple of holes for the air to disperse to other areas (meaning not just above the bathroom ceiling.
my previous house, double storey, i installed an Airegard ceiling exhaust, with ducting & everything. maybe becos my window also open most of the time, the exhaust fan like not effective at all. i light up a ciggy and hold it really close to the exhaust fan...and still its not able to suck it out.
i didn't try that method at my new house tho..strict no smoking inside house
heater..if you use instant type water heater, it comes with shower rose. those hand held type. if you want cheap & yet good, my suggestion is storage tank type water heater. both Alpha & Joven have them (quite similar) but apparently the electricity consumption is quite high. with those type of water heater, all piping works are done before hand and concealed within walls. so no unsightly hose & pipes around (as in the case if you use instant type water heater) so you can use any shower rose or head you wish. but of course you will need new mixer & other stuffs.
astro uses F-type connector if not mistaken. different from traditional aerial type connector. B.yond is different again i think.
