Hi WW & all the sifus here Yr johore friend should checked whether the planks in his Bh in KB has signs of bird nests being harvested. If he has not harvested then he know they is someone harvesting on his behalf . Not necessary the caretaker unless he has keys to the inside of the BH . Thank you Tuck Fook for sharing the security features. For a really successful BH armed guards are necessary . The associations can voiced BH owners predicament n maybe help to facilitate firearms applications in remote farms!

Hi Anyone here did or know of people doing studies on mites affecting the birds (which may impede the growth of birds in the BH ) or other pests or mites that affect the human and how these can be reduced or eradicated ? One BH owner informed me that he used to get bities everytime he enter his BH but after a weekly cleaning regime this bites are rare. Are the pests laying their eggs on the bird faeces. How long does the eggs of these pests need to reproduce etc. Are we 100 % sure the chemicals used are safe for us and the birds.
Maybe the sifus here can share their experiences but I think some scientific studies by the authorities should be advocated .

Dear Sifus and Fellow forumers
Not everyone here is ungrateful to pointers given by the sifus here. There is a Chinese saying " we must always remember where our water comes from " Even though some members have found other sources of water to drink from so to speak , we should still be grateful to the earlier advices given by fellow forumers .
We should open our mind to more knowledge from whatever source. Those who have learnt a lot from Pak HM do share a few droplets of your vast knowledge with us who for whatever reason is unable to attend the seminar. We will be grateful as always .
Do comeback to visit our ship for oldtime sake and to talk c if u want to.

Hi TuckFook
Thank you for sharing yr knowledge on electric fences and other Bh matters. I think I may have some similar electric wires on my entrance hole set by the contractor for preventing owls. There was a magpie robbin BBQed sometime back . Wondering whether your electric fences have BBQ a lot of other birds or mammals in our pursuits of defence system against thieves.
