QUOTE(benchai @ Dec 11 2010, 10:23 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « bro so whare are u from ? do u set up BH for ppl in kuching ?? Added on December 12, 2010, 3:20 pm QUOTE(West Wing @ Dec 12 2010, 11:40 AM) Talking about RED nests, you need to see it in order to believe it cos it do happened but not because the bird make red nest, we caused it. so those red nest got extra benefit ? its the same rite ? jus diff color cause by the nearby environment ?Just like my friend's BH, his Consultant sealed the roof with a sheet of steel to prevent burglary. Good luck and no break in for the last 5 years but then leakage in the roof and rain water seep in and cause the metal to rust and in the process, create red nests, dull red nests. So, if you want white nest, never use metal near nests or else, you may get red nests if the metal become rusty and spread to the plank and nest. A suggestion, you may put wet copper sheet near your nests to create green nest and other colors if you use different metal..........not recommended but maybe for the fun of producing multicolor nests to show off. hahaha This post has been edited by Jackygwh: Dec 12 2010, 03:20 PM |

QUOTE(xunji @ Jan 23 2011, 11:11 AM) from the photo provide earlier , i will say it is the right setup. i believe is the sound u play is matter. thanks for ur reply.... i think so also......... mostly Bird sound Quality or bird sound OR too less tweeter ?? nvr attract bird. reason - sound quality n type not correct - no bird population there - not at the correct time u doing the bird call i test it aroudn 6.pm while u can see birds fly around but when i switch it on.. no birds come near me Added on January 23, 2011, 11:27 am QUOTE(BirdNest_Satay @ Jan 23 2011, 11:25 AM) My solution to the dusty plank is buy a new plastic broom ... bro the ladder so exp ??Before mounting the individual planks lean one against the wall and sweep it both side. Yesterday I went to ask hardware store, they quoted me $520 for extendable ladder reaching 7m Too shocked This post has been edited by Jackygwh: Jan 23 2011, 11:27 AM |

QUOTE(BirdNest_Satay @ Apr 19 2011, 02:41 PM) Thanks for the reply. bro if u know the problem ed........ will it be hard to settle it still ? I shall share some updates on my BH if you guys don't mind my newbie experience About 1month+ ago I solved the problem of pigeon standing on dog kennel ledge with DIY nail carpet. 1 piece of unwanted grey canvas with an underlayer of unwanted plastic rice bag. Place these on styrofoam and hammer nails to the estimated shape & length of the dog kennel ledge. Use fingers to slowly pry the nail carpet from the styrofoam and secure it on the ledge with tape. Currently my BH is 2month+ , counted nearly 20 (mostly small) droppings spots recently when applying aroma liquid. There are still some flaws such as >temp 1-2 celcius lower than ideal 28c >lots of dead cockroaches on the floor >vent holes too windy |
