selling not selling is up to the sellers.

there basically three groups of farmers :

1) farmers tht treat this biz as hobby...they dont' have to sell unless they felt liked selling when the price is what they think is reasonable price. they don't really affected by it.

2) farmers tht depends on this biz to survive to pay bank loan....they have to sell eventhough the prices are much lower than reasonable price as bank cannot wait for u to wait for good prices to sell n then only pay the loan installment....n not surprisingly n unluckily, i am in this group lah..

3) farmers tht harvests hundreds of kilo a month....they whole house smell liked bn, and whenever they see all the bn scattering around living room, store room, and even bedrooms n until they can't even move around the house....they just feel liked want to vomit...n really fedup looking at all these bn...worst still, don't even dare to go out at night as worry breakin....so, what they can do? they have to sell loh...
btw, just in case u want to store the bn for one year without been yellow, which i never have a chance to do it as my bankers keep calling day n night to pay my installment, u might able to do some treatment before storing it in poly boxes......but cannot use the same machine as tht machine can only do in water...try buy another one that with function of air.......

Latest news on EBN prices and it's going up. Buyers from China are coming to buy directly bypassing middlemen and how they are to export, I don't know. The good news is that the price is up from last week low and now quality nests can fetch Rm3500, AB mix is Rm3200 and corner is RM2500. I can predict that the price will go up still but only for next few week as CNY is near and after that period is anyone guess again.

Malaysian buyers are still quoting low as they still don't know how to export to China so beware.

Hopefully, we shall see the RM5K+ price again.

Don't forget that the retail - over the counter price of EBN has hardly dropped, not in proportion with the price of raw EBN.

Some middlemen make much much more by adulterating our raw EBN, and in the past, turning them into 'Red' nests and causing all this trouble.

Why should the farmers bear the lower prices whilst the middle men take the majority of the profits.

Hey TF, did I mentioned it before cos I did that once before and that's years ago. I remembered that I had only approximately 2600 nests and didn't visit the BH for over 6 months and when a BH buyer came alone to buy the BH, I just quoted Rm1.7M and they confirmed it immediately. I was the fool for not counting the nests before I sold the BH and they counted the nests to be more than 4K nests. Although, then I could just refused to sell but then as a businessman and a man of honor, a golden handshake is an agreement.......but then luck still with me as I never regret that I sold the only BH that I have then as I wasn't interested in expending my fortune in the trade, and they gave me a reason to expand.

I never anticipated that I can have such huge gain over 6 months period......so, maybe, you will have good fortune, too as kind men like us do have such fortunate blessing from GOD. Hope to hear good news in a few months time.
