well....both LED cost around 33 USD + 10 USD for shipping...took 10 days to arrive.....total 43 USD x 3.4 = ~ RM 150 per pair of DLR LEDs, some Audi owner using their LED that last since 2006, aint that long lasting compare to the chepo LED from kedai abangs. Some chepo LED could only last for 2 weeks....there go rm 20 bucks... doh.gif

well, i juz bought 2 LED strips with LC for RM85....
day time, look not ok, but night time, ok lo....quite nice...post my pic(included Honda Civic Euro new version)

Hello to all the Fortezen,

I'm new here. Just finished reading V7 posts.

Today, I just tested out my new Forte.
Previously I drive City 1.5 VTEC too ..
Now it's sold, and no regret change to Forte.
Very amazing, and really leave me speechless ..  thumbup.gif
Hi SaimatKong,

Nice fisheye photos.
Add me to the list too.
Forte 2.0SX, Clear White.
Thanks in advance.    biggrin.gif

QUOTE(nagacyber @ Jun 13 2010, 04:43 PM)
hello all, i just got my white forte 1.6sx last monday. been a week since then and i am very satisfied with the car  thumbup.gif

but there is one problem that annoyed me a little though, i noticed the car kept pulling to the left. I frequently use the MEX highway and during the straights if i release the steering, the car will start going to the left. In order to go straight, i need to hold the steering slightly to the right. I brought the car to Chan Sow Lin SC yesterday to check the problem, but even after they said they have fixed it, the car still pulls to the left. the guy at SC said after they fix it the car may still go to the left abit. he said the reason was related to the fact that forte was originally a left hand drive car.

I've been reading about the alignment issue here and other forte forums, but im not sure if anyone has found a proper solution for this. can anybody explain to me how can this be solved? thanks!
*
same here, tyre shop said chamber 'out'.....
so, i go tell the SC weather can provide free chamber service or not
they told me, if i do it, will void warranty.
so, i think better leave the car 4 them 2 do tmr.....

wat petrol u use?

ron 95 (petronas)

Added on June 10, 2010, 12:07 am
stabilizer bars/strut bars can improve FC ???? that's my 1st time heard of it.....

no..la...what i mean is, even my car is heavy with the stabilizer bars, and full with body kit it was amazing i can reach 692 km with full tank of petrol....i think 1.6 forte is very good in fc la....(if you are the light right foot person)..

but even though i drive slow, i drive alot in city, so that makes no difference on petrol draining fast....esp in city drive...
i bought my car on 26th may, 1st service at 30th may, until now already 1.8k almost 1.9k mileage already....if i not mistaken, already pumped 4 times shell RON95, 2 times shell RON97, and yesterday 1 time BHP RON95....

what specs your car bro...1.6 or 2.0?
*

[/quote]
oh...mine use ron95 bhp, but think better switch back 2 shell....coz bhp can go up to 504 mileage oni, shell goes up to 55x-56x mileage
mine is 1.6sx

i'm not yet a forte owner,
but aiming for one sumday  smile.gif
currently in the process of stabilizing life.

i wonder if kia huat @ jalan putra has ready-stock?
if i pass-by their showroom, i can see quite numbers of forte
in front of their showroom.
*
they should hv rdy stock, bt also nid shipment from KL, thus it takes 1 week time.
those in there ald got ppl 1 d...juz oni mayb bank loan nt yet approve oni...
wat i can say is the 1 and only KIA showroom agents here, either kam siap(my salesman) or knw nothing(esp malay girls). after u get ur car...there r 4 things u nid 2 do, 1st n most important, petrol, 2nd n 3rd, tyre balancing n alignment(let SC knw 1st), 4th, check chamber....i kena chamber liao, nw nid claim....few days time.
but frankly tell u, SC ppl are much more better than SA(Showroom Agents)...i love the way SC ppl treat me, well, SA agents always kam siap or, knw nth 1...as i mentioned juz nw

change lah. i use it for once before. not so much difference and not helping me at all.
if u travel by using LPT during early morning its full with fog. damn scary nothing is visible more than 5 meters infront.
*
that is the problem with white....
white only good at clear, non foggy, non rainny days...
i still stick to yellow(means original)

yea, anyone can share more details about this? so new owners can aware of this issue and make sure to have a check during 1st/regular service.
*
my chamber kong means car go sideway although alignment had been done
and the sideway is....when i release the steering(when it's straight), the car will go draft left by itself...and not slow draft, is fast draft...almost like instantly when u turn ur steering slightly 2 ur left(going turn in a corner b4 junction from centre lane)
the kong is the tyre shop ppl say, so i juz follow them wat they say lo...not the whole chamber, but a 'big screw' like thing...mayb kinda incompatible during manufacturing(consider manufacturing defect)
