Me too. The whistling sound came from the driver's side mirror. But the sound only audible when i wind down the door window. I can live with that since i rarely wind down the window

Me also just came back from north state today..perlis to be exact. reset the onboard Average FC meter before the journey & then headed to KL. Pic below shows the average FC somewhere near Sungai Buloh, about +-450km of the journey (considerably light footed). Sorry for quite a blur pic (using my phone cam)

50km on state road & mostly autocruising at 110km/h on the next 400km on the highway. Occasionally speed up to 130km/h when overtaking.

Good FC for 2.0? All i can say is that the Forte 2.0 consumes less petrol than my previous Waja 1.6(A) for the same route, same driving style & same fuel type

wei don't look at segment la. look at the price, a 93k 2.0sx can smoke a 90k 1.5 city and and 92k 1.5 vios trd anytime anyday.

Actually i wanted to buy forte 2.0 la, but no showroom unit all over klang valley for me to check the quality build for the interior, engine noise, and test drive. But 93k for a 2.0 sx is a great deal, at first i love city high spec very much but after comparing the price about the same, i changed my direction to forte.

And best is when i went to forte showroom, i saw a couple was looking at the kia and they said want to trade in thier new vios i think 1 year old for this car, and I was like amazed. 

Looks like kia is gaining popularity all over the world not only malaysia.

Wheelcap: I want! Got matching front, back & steering wheel emblems? Is it different from the King Long emblem?

spark plug change at 30k... 20k will change air filter...
the thing is, if we change filter to let's say the ss type / k&n before, can we ask them to leave out the air filter?

Anyone tried VPower97 from Shell?

I pumped full tank last Friday night.

RM95 full tank. Shell RON95 was around RM80-RM85.

For RM15 more, so far after using half a tank i noticed i got around 20km more. Last time RON95 half tank only get me around 230-250km, now i already reach 270km.

I m not sure if it's placebo effect but the engine seems to be more quiet and responsive.

Will try full tank and see if it's worth the RM15 more

If RM85 can travel 470km = RM0.18/km

RM95 can travel 500km = RM0.19/km

I think it's worth the extra RM0.01/km?

Hie eeveryone i think this is my first time posting here but i am posting here because my friend also just bought a forte 4 months ago.at first all was nice and he fetch me many times in his forte b4.It is a not bad car lah.But recently he told me that his car got jerking jerking.Then i read here about the car jerking,so i found out that not only his car is like that.got a few ppl here oso suffering the same fate.So he said he need to check with the service place first.Then that day he call me he was on the way to rawang for work.The car had broken down on the highway.He said got some smoke coming out from the hood.He dint even have the chance to go to the service place to check with them lor.He took some pics ,hopefully i can get the pics from him and post them up here .Really sad for him,cause his car is a new car and this kind of thing happen.Had to tow his car to some place in selayang he told me.So now his car is stuck there for around 6 days liao.the last update i heard was they still trying to find out the problem.Since he my friend,i borrow him one of my old cars parked at home.

Guys...just a little input on the jerking issue. I have also been experiencing jerking, and it seemed pretty noticable today. Jerking happens when i downshift, ie when i slow down or depress the brakes. Normally happens within the 20-40km/h range. It will jerk two or three times

But when i am accelerating, i do not feel the jerking. Upshifts are quite smooth. Just the downshift repeated jerking. Quite annoying. Seems like the car is confused or trying to mate the sped with the suitable gear. Can it be solved

Besides that, is it true that the car lacks low end torque? Kinda need to push hard to gain decent momentum. Not high speed racing, just normal decent speeds

Bad things happened to my forte yesterday night. Meet up CoolSky in Melaka in preparation for Melaka TT.On the way to Melaka, i step hard the gas pedal averaging between 160KM/H and 170KM/H non-stop. The feeling could not be describe coz driving with full cargasm. At certain point, i do feel something is not right, the car felt like unstable especially during corner.

Reached Melaka late night and nothing else on my mind except to have a nice slumber all night long. I woke up late, bout 4PM and text Coolsky that i'll be late. Then it's when the bad moment started. OMG! what happened to my car? On bright sunny day i clearly can see that the car badly in shape. All four tyres with thread come off. Bumper also fell down a bit from its place. In my mind, thinking of our forte is not good enough for high speed driving and it answers my curiosity on car unstable feeling yesterday. This must becaused of last night driving! Damn!

Text Julz for help. Suddenly he popped out infront of me. With unbelievable reactions, he help me to change one of the tyre with spare one. the other tyres need to change. I'm broke. What should i do? 

did you check on your coolant level? It's almost lower... arghh which one to refil? water or get coolant?

for 2nd service, what did they change? need to swap tyre? total cost = ? gonna do 2nd service soon.
