you can try use your overseas payslip before you come back, and your offer letter of your new job. Am sure it should be enough to support your loan application. I bought my first car when i was still working in UK using my UK payslip and bank statements.

It really depends. once you logged in the SMPC system it usually take about 4-6 weeks for my case (one is 4 one is 6) but currently the SMPC system is down so I am not sure how you are going to check... I did submit my first car application myself with the help of the sales agent providing the information.

According to TalentCorp REP purchaser can claim back the EEV incentive given and I am checking with TalentCorp what are the procedures and department to claim the EEV incentive for REP buyer. It may be a good news for those who has purchased a car with EEV incentive eg Mazda CX-5, Honda City and Mercedes C200

Prior to transfering the ownership of the vehicle, you would need to pay up the remaining excise duty for the car, you would need to go in person to Customs dept with the REP approval letters and your vehicle registration card for an invoice on how much is remaining. They normally revert in a week. Once you pay up, the JPJ system would then receive a notification from them that your car is eligible for transfer of ownership (that you have paid the balance of excise duty).
