Hi.
I just bought Acer 4741G from a shop in lowyat plaza.
The SA told this this unit come with 1 year international warranty and 2 years local warranty.
But i don't see any warranty card, I just got 2 warranty booklets inside the box.

So, how does this warranty coverage work? And, how am I am going to claim warranty outside Malaysia?

the serial number is below your laptop..

u need to register with acer..then u can bring to highpoint service center (acer warranty distributor) if got any problem happen to u laptop...

I want to clarify this due to some shops are selling this model for 1 year warranty.

yeah that is normal.i also use the same model as you. if you want to add more warranty just go to the acer highpoint or their website.

it is like my warranty is expired already

did you register the laptop already? when is the expiry date? you suppose to know that.i bought my laptop in may 2010 and my expiry date on may 2013

Well, he did said that he bought the laptop on 23rd June 2010 ..so 3 years warranty, expired supposedly on June 2013, maybe you can shoot some email to Acer

Can't do that now...just now i go to acer support website and they say its under maintenance until 28th june. But its really unusual for that case to happen. we know acer gives 3 year warranty (1 year international, 2 years local) so total 3 years. just check the warranty in their website and see when its expired. use the serial number under the laptop

initially I checked with S/N, the expire date is 29-Jul-2013; after register under my name and purchase date, it's extended
