Hmm... ever thought of ordering from SeiyaJapan or Higuchi-Inc for Japan Domestic Model (JDM) only watches? I mean they're definitely pricier but not all of them are That out of the world "Swiss Automatic Watch pricetag" more expensive to be honest.

I've got the Seiko Mechanical SARB065 "Cocktail time" here after having a hard time deciding against the SARB031. Both have the rather reliable 6R15 auto movement. Elegant simplicity with excellent finishing....with small details up close. And quality movements as well

While it's definitely over the budget, there are a few models that can be bought if you're willing to stretch the budget. And for a Made in Japan, I think it's actually worth the premium. That being said, I'm also quite keen on an Automatic 5 "flieger" from Roachman.com... nice casual watch.

I am considering SARB065 and the tissot visodate 1957...both of them are below rm1.5k...but the tissot seems to offer better perks...
28800 bph, sapphire crystal, day-date...really hard to decide...

Heya,

I looked up the Visodate 1957... wow... it's quite the looker drool.gif

Do any of the distributors in Malaysia carry it? thought I should check it out in person.. And no.. not planning to buy it after burning quite a bit on the SARB065

I don't think you'll go wrong with either man.. The SARB065, well there's the elegance and the sunburst within a sunburst design I liked... kinda reminded me of the JLC Master Control That I would really want one day...plus their method of building everything in-house somehow is in somewhat the same spirit as the JLC brand.

Don't get me wrong though... the Tissot looks absolutely beautiful.. it's a blessing in disguise perhaps I found this out later... or else I'll be agonising over 3 watches instead... rclxub.gif

Do tell us on what you finally decide on....

Cheerios
