Yes of course patryn, it is a must to show off this beautiful movement.
Not sure is it original, but is direct from Seagull HK.

Ya man, am confusing myself too.
According to Thomas, it is 38mm with acrylic crystal. ST19 is not a big movement anyway.
But does it matter? brows.gif

Those LE sold out long time ago, it was USD490 per piece then.

The sapphire back just add another USD8 ; it is a steal!
Was quoted ~RM600 for my speedy sapphire back from Swatch mad.gif

hi guys sorry to disturb got something to ask... hehe

i'm a noob in watch and to cut the story short i have a seiko kinetic that i bought few years back

Then when i leave it at home for some time and it dont work anymore...anyway to fix it? i've ask uncle google and found thong sia but the place is freaking jam and i got no time to go there on weekdays...anyone know anywhere that can fix it or the watch is totally dead and as good as to change a new one??
*
I'm afraid the only place to go is Thong Sia.
Yes, if the repair cost is too high, might as well get a new watch, unless sentimental value exist.

Alternatively, bring back to the shop you bought the watch from, ask them to send on your behalf.

I think the current HK Seagull '1963 reissue' are not authorized versions.

The first true chinese airforce chronograph was released 1965. Seagull currently offers a limited edition reissue.

I like that logo. Did it inspire Starfleet's?

Am not sure how's Seagull HK and US operation. As long as produced by them, it doesn't matter. biggrin.gif
And judging by the look and selling price, I'll definitely go for Seagull Hk one rclxm9.gif

Sorry cyclonez, don't owned one and I've no idea of kinetic watch.
They got no branches, give them a call and perhaps you can courier the watch to them.

One of the few Tissots that I like, very classy. With similar price range and look, you might consider Mido as well.

Finally got the visodate. It sure is hard to find as the model I want (silver with white dial) is sold out in a lot of places. Very happy with it but needs some getting used to because of the size.

Congrats man! rclxms.gif

just being curious, why does this watch cost around 10k? what are the technologies in this watch?
*
I think you should read more Panerai's history.
In summary, no, no special technology in the watch. Only hour and minute.
Why so expensive?
People like it, demand > supply.

Yeah... I've been searching in Mudah.my also. Found one PAM176 and was offered RM14.5k!

The BNIB PAM000 cost USD3800 which is around RM12k!

Heard the Cailbre S movement have some problems!

176 is used.
000 if you trust the seller and shipping.
177 no idea, can always choose to deal in Richment. I would!

Calibre S, quartz that cost so much doh.gif
Calire 1887 = Seiko movement, and TH claimed is 'in-house' doh.gif doh.gif

Hi CK... i do agree TH is overpriced and do not hold any value... btw, how many watches in your collection now?
*
Speaking of TH, I do like their Aquagraph and Steve McQueen's Monaco.
My collection? Only a handful, 6-7 now. cool2.gif

I think these ones do not have actual good water resistance, ironically.

Added on November 30, 2010, 5:02 pmOh I am mistaken. Just clicked on those links.

There are other 'diver' watches that look like this, big and brutal, but with poor water resistance.
*
For me, diver should have 2 basic criteria; screw-in crown and screw-in caseback.
Those fashion watch diver usually don't hold good WR.

Don't be so harsh guys, youngster don't care much about movement and value.

One must have 1-2 'showing off watches' and Tag and Oris fit into the bill nicely among younger peers.

a997862, yes you could get Tag F1 (non-chorno) under 2k. While for Oris, I think you need to pay a bit more for its entry level automatic.

Get whatever you like and enjoy it!
