I dont know whether to be happy or sad seeing the chopster team won tonight cause my goldie is so much bigger than the handicap chopster (handicap somemore...) not to mention siao kia's size with both his arm gone still won against a much bigger opponent potential boy.


i find that the chopster team (consist of crazy chopster, handicap chopster and siao kia chopster) never retrieve in any fights be it win or lose the previous 3 rounds), this crazy chopster team will jump and chop their opponents on first sight not like the rest of my fs which will push then only chop. what amazes me tonight is the fighting will of siao kia chopster, its either they are freaking hungry or they really are from the siao chopster family (which I most likely think cause 3 of them chop the same way, jump and chop on first sight, takde berlagak open arm long long)

what i can confirm is I will definately go back hunt at the same chopster zone during the weekend (monday & tuesday holiday so got extra 2 days to hunt). Im now feeling a bit sry for myself cause i let go a fs of ampang boy's size during my hunt yesterday (its the only non handicap fs I saw there)

Hi everyone,

I was hoping to enthusiast u guys with my activities today. Got up at 8am ate my breakfast and head to search for new hunting ground. To my surprise there are so many of them when i explore deeper into places near my house. max my container at 1pm then head back to my house to offload the fs.

Was really tired by then but I couldnt stop thinking about the chopster area so i went out again and caught 4 males from that specific area. As im too eager to get bigger size fs I did not take many pics but here are some which was taken

Hi bro Randy,

U guys woke up so early to hunt, that really drive my hunting spirit man. I think ur a very brave guy, if its me seeing a cobra it wont take spilt second for me to jump as far as i can from the serpent and run for my life, its even braver of you to try take a pic . thats the different between hunting alone and in a pack. the slightest movement (maybe cause by just a baby lizard) will make me turn my head off (my place here very scary if go hunting alone because I tend to go to the deepest of an area) but for the love of fs, I always gather my courage to go back seems like I have to double my efford to get bigger fs since u guys are so actively hunting. I only have 2 slightly bigger than SL size currently (might be ML judging by the size of royal & shadow) which is my 1st & second king.

thanks in advance for bringing the crickets over, is it possible to also bring a few lc worms (food testing, )?hopefully these consistent food will make my fs become a sumo figure I think u should come earlier if ur thinking to go hunting together cause my area is too huge to be covered in a day. Ive identify 7 spots (FS spots) so far, and it takes me 2 weeks to just finish covering the entire 7 areas. I started hunting at about 1pm today ended at 5 due to rain. one question, how do you guys turn your fs into chopper?

luckily got restaurant nearby or else no where to lepak during rain.


found a baby nest. at last dont have to wake up early for at least 3 days I cath them all because I saw 3 more nest almost hatching nearby (can see transparent baby inside d)


thought of releasing all these in the morning but they died during my breakfast (maybe too hot in the car)


yesterday my 3rd king 'lone ranger2 past away. thought of bringing a few fs to show my friend's kid during football session but never cross my mind lone ranger2 cannot tahan the environment (maybe he terdrink beer and died).Im yet to get his measurement but its easy now, just need ruler or something to measure.


I find it hard to have a consistent team of 4 because the new fs kept pushing my current team down the pecking order except for my 1st & 2nd king

Satisfy overall for today's efford, caught 12 males (kept 4 biggest). Will continue to explore new areas tomorrow and tuesday as Im off. will update you guys on my activities

hmm....if the population of fs is shrinking in sg I suggest u guys make a trip up here, get some 100+ fs both male & females and breed it there.might help tho .

Hunting day 3 started at 11am ended 3pm today. Caught countless fs in differrent new areas. I never imagine my taman itself can be a magnetic pool for fs. caught 10 males on 1 stand alone pandan tree itself. here are some pics

caught 10 males on this pandan plant alone (just in front of houses, probably planted by them ). the whole stretch are full of pandan leaves and other plant but am too tired to carry on...max out box, went home.

Its a pity to see FS' home being destroyed, Im glad to know that we here have plenty of fs even in the cities. U could just simply plant a pandan leave and in no time u will find fs in it. I would say that they are great migrator here as we have construction every where but still u find fs even to the nearest of the construction area (I caught few sizeable fs 10 metres from a contruction site), maybe because they can fit in any kind of environment so long as there are some plants 20 odd years back my kampung, the tree which i caught fs is still there today (the surounding environment are a little bit different due to some construction nearby, nevertheless I still can recognise the tree shape) which is good and bad - good - nature are still being preserve at its minimal, bad - seems like my kampung is not that develop comparing to bigger cities in Malaysia or sg.

I totally agree with you about the sizes, if u get small sizes everytime there wouldn't be any fun especially when dueling, that is the reason why i keep going to new places hoping to get a bigger size than before. Anyway it seems like getting 1 after another in a short period of time give me a hype in adrenaline and kept me check on my confident lvl to get a bigger ones later. It will drive me nuts if im empty handed in an hour or two or to get just 1 the whole day u know getting a ML size or SL size does not seem a matter to me at the moment because i really enjoy the hunting moment (I feel much more younger these days ).

Oh ya I measure my 3rd king (lone ranger2 which pass away 2 days ago) on a paper and threw away the carcass, took it on a ruler and it measure 7.1mm (head to tail, forgotten to take a measurement of the head), the arm length measure 7mm (i was able to stretch it full because its already dead, this guy has the longest arm among all my fs in captivity). I will try to get a measurement for all the sizeable fs soon provided if I have the time because im always on the hunt lately whenever free (hopefully its not that hard to measure when its still alive, I've never measure my fs till I join this forum). I guess its really a genetic issue as i only managed to catch 6 of those sizes or bigger in this 2 weeks (2 of which is my sparring because they lost the fighting will after losing few rounds)

One thing I really hope is to hunt in a group, looking forward to bro randy & bro ricky's trip up

Hmm...someone taught me to feed this way when I own my first fs, never crosses my mind it will extinct or almost like sg due to variety reasons. I guess I will try to be kind to them (tho sounds funny, human today tends to do funny stuff out of nature, tube baby, breast implant,botox etc) because what u say make sense. As far as I can remember, I tried raising baby spider during my younger days which failed (tried it out of my curiousity). its really a tough thing to raise a baby as its a difficult task, it will be the last to do on my check list unless im facing the same issue as yours.

I wish if I kiss my fs to show love, he will love me back (tough to tell how he will ) I can see from the pics of your extensive work, bravo bro. keep up your good work, sg really need more people like you as for the babies, thanks for your kind reminder (will keep in mind of what i've learned today)

I hope my fs can put up a good fight when our fs cross arms (even the biggest are prone to chops, most can tahan 5 chops only, mainly pushing) . mind telling me how to convert to chops?

Added on May 18, 2011, 1:37 am managed to take some pics and videos before I call it a night. conclusion, my fs cannot tahan chop..but against saphire, even kg pandan seen as a chopster against ampang boy (yesterday rank no 1) surrender after a few pushes (weird to think off cause ampang boy, goldie, kg pandan all was defeated by saphire by merely few pushes). my efford and time for catching goldie, ampang boy, kg pandan (which all average sized 7mm) was all but nothing for a short few seconds (i thought at least they can give a good work out to saphire).

caught 2 chopster from the same tree by the roadside under hot sun (seems like every plant/tree here got fs distinguish only by sizes from different area)

I've explore more and more places and got lost at one stage, came out the main road to find myself at the other end of a long highway the taman here is too big. More than 10 taman in one big taman, imagine ang mo kio, hou gang, jurong and a few more taman stick to each other with small roads linking up each other (secondary roads other than highway). boarder joining tamans is separated by a house kinda thing...best part is every less than 500m u will see an area with lots of plants (undevelop small area)

have to wake up as early as 5 tomorrow to catch my flight...airport so far

I got a glimpse of sg's way of conducting fs fights when I met bro Ricky, Randy & Edmund. learn quite a few lessons from them
and truly indeed its amazing to see live fights of fs with kakis. though its a short meetup, I appreciate the time spend together & most importantly I got some baby crickets & LC worms from bro Ricky (thanks a bunch bro also for gandao the chopster) .

I finally got a chopster trained thanks to bro ricky's gandao. Overall, I've gained from this invaluable experience about fs fighting such as feeding before fights, chopster behavious etc etc thanks to the short meetup .

there is a 2minutes + fight between silver and golden force (interesting match) which wow me (I hope to record such matches with my own fs soon).
Nevertheless, its all fun other than getting stuck for almost an hour trying to get back to the other side. hope to see u guys again soon
